Castiel's POV
It was 6 o'clock so I thought I would start cooking for Sam and I."Are you hungry, Sam?" I asked, getting off the couch and walking towards the kitchen.
"Yeah, what are you making?" He asked.
"Whatever you want." I said.
"Do you mind if I try my hand at cooking? I really want to try to cook." He pleaded.
"Alright, what are you going make? Do you want me to help you?" I offered.
"I don't have a clue about what I'm going to make but I'll figure it out. I can handle it myself, I don't want any help but thank you." He answered.
"Alright, I'll leave you to it." I said and walked out of the kitchen.
Oh boy, I don't have a good feeling about this.
I heard my phone ringing so I answered it. It was Gabriel.
"Cassie, can I stay at your house tonight? I just into a fight with my parents and I can't be around them right now." He explained.
"Alright, Sam is here by the way. He's spending the night over as well." I explained.
"Cool. See you in a bit." He said and hung up.
"Sam, make extra food. Gabriel's coming over." I called over to Sam.
There was a sudden fall and I rushed into the kitchen.
"Sam, are you ok?" I asked as I entered the kitchen.
He was getting up off the floor.
"Y-yeah, I'm f-fine." He said, clearing his throat.
Sam's POV
Oh my God, Gabriel's coming over! God, he's so cute. Gotta make a good impression. Have to have good cooking skills. I need Dean's help.I take out my phone and hit Dean's name. It rings a few times before he picks up.
"Sammy, are you ok? What's wrong?" He asked nervously.
"I'm fine, I just need your help with something. How do you make...um, how do you make grilled chicken?" I asked.
"Sammy, I really don't know. Just, look it up. Plus, why are you making grilled chicken?" He asked with a small chuckle.
"I wanted to try my hand in cooking and Castiel said it was ok if I tried to cook." I explained.
"Sammy, can you please put Castiel on the phone for a minute?" He asked.
"Sure, one minute." I said.
"Castiel, my brother wants to talk to you." I say as I walk into the room that Castiel is in.
"Ok, thanks." He says and takes the phone.
I walk back into the kitchen and try to figure out what to do with this chicken
Castiel's POV
"What the heck, Castiel? You can't let my little brother cook on his own. He could burn himself. I worry about him cooking." Dean rushed."Don't worry, Dean. I'm checking in on him every few seconds. Dean, I'm not going to let your brother hurt himself." I explained.
There was a pause.
"Ok." Is all he said.
"You trust me right, Dean?" I asked.
"Yeah, of course I trust you. If I didn't trust you, I wouldn't have told Sam he could stay at your house for the night. This is showing you how much I trust you, Cas." He explained.
"I hope you don't mind me calling you Cas. Castiel is a mouthful to say." He continued.
"No, it's ok. I like that nickname." I said and smiled to myself.
"Ok." He said.
"Alright, so you're not mad at me?" I asked.
"No, we're ok. As long as Sam is safe and happy, I'm fine." He explained.
"I understand. Bye, Dean." I said.
"Bye, Cas. I'll see you tomorrow at school." He said before hanging up.
I walked into the kitchen and handed Sam his phone. Then, I heard the doorbell ring. I walked out of the kitchen and went to answer it.
