It's Sunday and Lauren finally leaves tomorrow. Her stay has been her loving Joey and crying over John. It's too bad you can't choose family. Also I miss the attention of Joey because right now were 'not dating.'
We're laying on Joey's bedroom floor watching a movie on Netflix.
"I'm hungry" I hear Joey whine playfully.
"Me too, I want chips." I hear Lauren say.
"Oh, don't think we have those." Joey says.
"I'll go gets some at the store if you want" I offer.
"Yay, that's why I love you," Joey says, his speech slowing towards the end of the sentence. "As a friend of course!"
I smile slightly and then get up.

Joey's POV
Claire leaves and me and Lauren continue to watch the movie. She has been so clingy and according to Claire annoying. I feel bad though, she and her boyfriends supposedly broke up after 3 years. I know that's hard for anyone I can't imagine leaving Claire.
"Hey," I hear Lauren speak. I look to her.
"Joey it's been hard with John, and I've been really upset, but when I'm with you, it's so different. You're just so optimistic and I love that."
She leans in. "I love you." She then jerks forward and kisses me intensely, and I quickly push her away.
"What was that?"
She looks confused. "Come on! Now's the time to do it, Claire isn't here, it would be awkward with her around."
"It's awkward no matter what!" I almost yell.
"Why? I have feelings for yo-"
"I don't Lauren!"
"Why?"
"Because I'm dating your sister." She turns away slowly and I breath out. Lauren then gets up and leaves the room.
I run after her but I see her call a cab. She got in quickly, then the vehicle drive away.

Claire's POV
I return to Joey's to see him upset in his bedroom and Lauren gone.
"What happened?"
"I told her we were dating because she was trying to kiss me."
"Joey, it's fine-"
"She ran out I'm not sure where she is!"
"Joey, stop it's fine, she'll be at my place. She was wrong and I had a feeling that's why she came anyways, to get to you!"
"I'm sorry" He says softly.
"It's fine, nothing bad can happen to us, think positive."
He smiles at my optimistic attitude.
I lean in a kiss him softly.
