Chapter 42- Cancer
Mia's POV

Haha, you've just been punk'd! Did you really think that I'd die? Did you really think that I'd leave you alone? Nope bitches, I'm back, and I'm back livelier than ever. I'm not talking from heaven, I'm talking from hell.

Just kidding! But honestly, I'm not dead.

Apparently, miracles do happen. I survived my cancer. I kicked cancer in it's ass. And about the getting shot and loosing lots of blood, I did get blood. Don't think I paid the doctor to lie to Ashton, because I didn't, my heart had actually stopped working. But then, here I am, talking to y'all. I'm alive because of a miracle.

This just explains that miracles do happen, and I'm a living example of that.

Don't worry, the doctors told Ashton I was alive after a lady donated blood to me.

Right now, I'm just lying down on the bed, IV pipes coming out from the back of my hand, and an oxygen mask on my face. Ashton walks in with his head down, so I immediately close my eyes.

I feel weight next to the bed, and his head was now on the bed, next to my hand. "I don't know how thank god right now Mia. You're alive and that's the best thing that could happen to me. I swear I don't know what I would've done without you Mia. I'd probably die. I would've seriously-" a lift my hand with all the strength and place it on Ashton's head, brushing his hair,

"Ashton," I croak out. Ugh, I sound so weird.

He looks up at me with glossy eyes, and then immediately hugged my lower body, his head on my stomach. I lift up my oxygen mask, "ouch!" I exclaim,

"Sorry, sorry!" He looks up at me and immediately crashed his lips against mine. Oh how much I missed his lips. He kissed me all over my face and then stares into my eyes. "Don't you ever do that to me ok?" He says,

"Do what?" I ask,

"Scare me like this. Don't you ever fucking do that!"

"Alright Mr. Grumpy." I say, making him chuckle. I put on my oxygen mask once again as I see the door open, Calista, Liam and Abigail walking in.

"Oh Mia dear, how are you feeling?" I was about to speak but then Ashton speaks, "mom, she's not in the right state to speak right now." Then he looks at Liam and was about to walk towards him but I stop him by catching his wrist.

The doctor walks in, "it's truly a miracle to see Mia alive. Even after donating blood after an hour, she survived. She survived cancer-"

"Wait what? She has cancer?" Liam asks,

"Yes, the patient was diagnosed with breast cancer. It is honestly incredible to see her alive after having cancer and loosing a lot of blood." He says before leaving the room,

"Mia, why didn't you tell me about the cancer?" Liam asks,

"Oh now you care about her? Where did your caring nature go when you placed a gun against her head?" Ashton said, making everybody gasp,

"What? Liam why'd you do that?" Abby asks,

"It's because I loved her, but the only person she has feelings for is Ashton." He replies,

Abby starts tearing up, "you love Mia?" She asks, making Liam nod. She covers her mouth and leaves the room, making Liam run behind her.

"Wow, all of this is so dramatic. I'll anyways leave you two alone." Calista said before leaving.

Me and Ashton were just staring at each other, smiling as we do that. The only two words clouding my head right now, is,

I survived.

Oh thank god she survived! Anyways, this was the last chapter, so it's safe to say,
