Hey this will be the last chapter.... -tear-!!!!! there will be a sequel!

----------

My fingers loosely strummed the strings of my old guitar as Lou walked in.

"What do the headlines say today?" I ask putting the instrument down, "'Whore Get's Dumped'?" I scoff and run my fingers through my hair.

"Phoenix..." he says shaking his head, "don't do this to yourself..." he puts his hands on my shoulders but I shove him away.

"Why not?" I say glaring out the window, and crossing my arms around my chest. Cutting myself of from the rest of the world.

"It's not your fault he was too stupid to use a condom!" he shouts back at me, "you couldn't help this Phoe," he forces my shoulders straight on to look at him, "you loved him... Admit it."

I stared up at him with big eyes an shook my head before looking at the floor, "Look me in the eye and say it. You love him," Lou says forcing my face to look back at him.

"I love him!" I shout as a tear falls down my face, "I loved him with all my heart and now he's gone! He's gone because of me!"

"No!" Lou says pointing a finger close to my face, "don't say that."

I tried to rip at his grip and pull before he fixes his grasp around my arms to hold me to the point of pain, "Listen!" he scolds. And I did.

"He did not leave you because of something that you may or may not have done. He is scared Phoenix... He's scared an just doesn't know what to do right now..." Lou touches my face and I nod and put my head against his chest.

"He was so mad..." I say burying myself into him.

"I know, Love... I know," Louis kisses the top of my head, "now, can we get back to work, Love?" he asks.

"Yes," I smile and pull away from him. What was it about Lou that just made you want to stay in his arms forever? He was like the big brother I always not only wanted, but needed...

"Alright, I'm not much of a guitarist," he laughs as we sit down on the chairs, "so I'm just going to help you touch up the chorus before the sound check tonight. Oh, and Ed said he'd come in a little later to help you with some chords."

I nodded as Lou starts playing the piano part, "Ok, so lead into the chorus," he says pointing at the ending of the first verse.

"Never thought that one day I'd be losing you..." he sings with me and fades out as the chorus starts.

"Stop," he says after I sing the first line, "you have to connect to it," he turns to me and motions for me to sit, "ok, don't force the note now, just go with it... let it lead itself into the momentum. Make sense?" he chuckles a little and looks over at me.

"Total sense," I say smiling at him as the door opens.

"Hey," Ed says smiling at the door as we turn to look, "sound check is in 15 minutes so I thought I'd come and help with chords... if you like..."

"Yes, I'll just go check you in backstage," Lou says giving me a hug, "be there in 10 minutes ok?" he asks.

"Yup," I say closing the piano case before picking up the guitar, "I'll be there."

"Alright," Lou says smiling before walking out the door as Ed closes it.

"Is there any chord in particular that you are having trouble with?" he asks and sits down on the stool that he pulled over to me.

"Yeah... A minor..." I say trying to make the bar chord work and bite my lip as I look over at it.

"Oh your capo is slightly off," he says going behind me and readjusting it on the fourth fret.
