Mercy's POV

When I went to go in the car you'll never believe who I saw. Jack, Logan and RICK.

I absolutely dislike Rick he is a real jerk besides Matt. Rick is 22 and is an alcoholic. He abuses Roxy when he's drunk and spends all the family money on drugs or alcohol. Rick has black hair, green eyes, tattoos and piercings. The worst part was that Rick was Roxy's bigger brother. Rick was in the passenger seat in the black chevy camero, Roxy was driving, Logan was behind Roxy and Jack was behind Rick. I opened the door on Jack's side and crawled to the middle. Jack smiled at me and put his arm around me. I flinched cause I wasn't used to people doing that especially him. He looked at me furrowing his eyebrows. "Whats wrong?" He whispered. "Nothing i'm just not used to people putting there arms around me." He frowned. "Oh." was all he said then took his arm off of me. I gave him a hurtful look and put his arm around me and wiggled closer to him smiling. He smiled at that, chuckled then inhaled my hair, closing his eyes and smiling even more. "So where are we going to swim at?" Rick asked. "The only swimming hole here." Jack answered. I don't think Jack likes Rick either. "Why can't we go to another swimming hole? This one here is freaking freezing." Rick whined. "I am not driving 2 hours to go to a different swimming hole just because you can't man up."Roxy snapped. The rest of the car ride was silence. We pulled up to the springs. It has a waterfall and a cave that I only know about behind the waterfall. Nobody ever swims here because it's so cold. We all get out of the car and I start running towards the dock. "Last one in is a big fat chicken!!!" I screamed. I reached the dock and was about to jump but two big arms wrapped around me and I turned to see Jack smirking. I giggled then we both jumped into the water together. I reached to the surface and Jack splashed me. I splashed him back and swam to the waterfall as fast as I could so no one could see. No one seen me, I entered the cave and sat on a rock, humming a random toon and watching the waterfall. I kinda fell asleep for a while and woke up. I exited the cave and swam to the dock. When I get out of the water I see Logan and Roxy sitting together then Rick sitting across from them with a black eye. I approach them and ask. "Where's Jack?" Logan stood up. "Where were you?" He said angrily. I was hurt at first then I got angry. "What is your problem?!" I demanded, standing up taller and taking a step forward. Logan sat back down huffing and puffing. "Whatever I gonna go find Jack." I said. "He said he was going to the bathroom." Roxy replied. I went to the bathrooms, and opened the guys restroom door but didn't go in. "Jack? Jack are you in here?" I called. nobody answered. I walked on the trail until I saw Jack walking a few feet away from me. I snuck up to him and whispered "Boo." in his ear. he didn't react he kept walking then finally said. "Hey Mercy." I walked next to him pouting. "How did you know it was me?" I whined. "Who else could it be?" He asked. "I could have been a cereal killer or worse." I said giggling. "Oh and why does Rick have a black eye?" I asked suspiciously. He fake smiled and chuckled then rubbed the back of his neck. "Well... Um I guess he likes you and he sorta got jealous-but he started it!" He said accusingly. I giggled even more and covered my mouth with my hand then my cheeks turned red. "Do you like him?" He asked narrowing his eyes at me. "Ew no! wait would you be mad if I did like him." "yes." He said getting more upset. "Then yes I like him." I said giggling. "No you don't." He said before picking me up and putting me on his shoulder then walking in a different direction. I was laughing like crazy."Put me down!" I said struggling to get out of his grip. "I was just kidding I don't like him... wait were you jealous?" "NO!" He said. I bit him on his ear then he dropped me holding his ear. "Ow that hurt!" He said. I just got up then ran to a tree and climbed it. I didn't even know the tree was next to the picnic table that Roxy and the others were at until I looked down and saw them giving me a look as in 'Get down from there now' they looked like little ants it was kinda funny. I gave them the quiet sign then saw Jack coming in my direction rubbing his ear that I bit but he didn't see me. I grabbed an acorn from the tree and threw it at him and it hit his head. He looked up then saw me. "Why did you bite my ear earlier?" He asked but almost yelling because I was high up in the tree. "I told you to put me down?" I said almost yelling. "Well could you get down so we can have lunch?" He asked. I get out of the tree and eat lunch after that Roxy dropped me off at my house and I went to bed forgetting the fight and thinking how great this day was.
