Finding home

When I walked out of the hospital it was dark out. The only light I saw were the street lights. It was also very cold. I couldn't even feel my bare feet hitting the road as I walk. My hair kept smacking me in the face, my lips were probably purple and the doctors coat was only covering my arms and back. I rub my hands together trying to get warm but something else happens. They start to glow bright red like fire. I stare at them in shock. And squeal in surprise as it starts to warm me up. I felt safe and comfortable like the fire was protecting me. All of a sudden I see a figure walking toward me. I look back down at my hands to see that they have stopped glowing. The figure was getting closer and I was ready to attack. Why? well I don't know I just feel like I'm in danger. The figure stepped into the light and looked at me like I was a delicious piece of chocolate so basically eye raping me. He looked like is in his late 30s, brown hair and eyes and gross yellow teeth. "Hey pretty lady, what are you doing in the middle of the night... half naked?" crap, I should have gotten clothes in the hospitals laundry room. "Um... my boyfriend cheated on me and I forgot to get my clothes, I'm lost and I need money" I easily lied. The man pulls out his wallet and gives me forty dollars. "Uh thank you but I really must go now bye." I start to run away but the man gets me and pushes me into a light pole. "you ain't goin nowhere kitten." He says pulling out a knife and bringing it to my neck. I grab his wrist and somehow it burns him. He hisses in pain and falls to the ground while I'm already running away. But not without the forty dollars, of course.
