Chapter 12

"That's what makes you beautiful," I sang the last line with confidence and power just like Harry or any of the lads would have if they were here in the car with us. Danielle let the playlist play the next song and it was another one of their songs. "Man, I'm just happy that there wasn't anything wrong with the babies. I was so worried." I gently placed my hand on my belly and continued to look out the window. 

Ell leant forward in her seat so she could be between Danielle and I. "Me, too. I honestly got worried when you hollered for us this morning," Eleanor grabbed the phone and changed the playlist song to one we all knew. "Did they take any labs?" 

"Yeah, I won't get them back for at least a week, but they said they should come back fine," I replied, bobbing my head to the beat of the song. The girls told me that they were hoping nothing was wrong. I smiled, still obviously nervous about the labs. "I'm still nervous, though." Dani teased me for saying that it, but I knew it was out of good spirit.

Danielle placed her left hand on my thigh. "Of course you are! It's your babies. It's just your motherly instincts." My eyes switched over to Dani and I nodded at her, agreeing.

"They're tough. They can make it through anything. Just look who their parents are." I rolled my eyes and turned away from the girls with a huge smile on my face. My phone started vibrating in my pocket and I dug it out only to see a private number. I furrowed my brows as I turned down the radio system and answered it.

"Who's this?" On the other line, a familiar chuckle busted out. "Harry," I whispered. The line went quiet.

I could tell he was smiling just by listening to the way he breathed. "Did I scare you?" I chuckled and rolled my eyes.

"Yes," I trailed off. "You called just in time, but is everything all right over there?"

"Yeah, I just wanted to talk." I felt Dani glance over at me, I nodded with a big smile, and went back to talking to Harry. "Did you find anything out?" His voice bled nervous. "Rissa, you really worried me today." I felt bad about it, I honestly did.

I adjusted myself in the seat as Dani came to a stop. "Yeah, they gave me an ultrasound. They said they couldn't find anything wrong so they did some labs just in case." I leant down and paused the radio system. "She said that everything with it came back healthy looking, everything is looking normal. No extra limbs or any more heads than we need." I heard Haz let out a chuckle. 

"Well, that's great, baby." Dani put her foot to the pedal a little too fast and took off speeding. I grabbed onto her leg tightly as she squeaked out an apology and kept going at the actual speed limit. "What are you up to?

"Heading back home with Danielle and Eleanor," I replied back happily. "What are you doing? Aren't you supposed to be practising?"

"We're at the airport here in New Zeland waiting to go to New York. Our plane doesn't board for another hour." I smirked over to Danielle and she shook her head sternly over at me. "I can't wait to see you here soon." I smiled and turned my head away from the girls so they couldn't see me blush.

"Sharissa, are you blushing," Danielle's voice teased loud enough for Harry to hear. "Aww, little Sharissa!"

I heard Harry start laughing on the other line and I just glared at her. "Danielle is evil," I teased back at her.

"Nah, she's just a good friend. But I'm glad that we don't have any extra limbs or heads than we need on our baby." Babies, but if only you knew. "I can't wait until we get to meet little him or her. Speaking of which, have you found out the gender?" I smiled evily. 

"Nope, I told them to print it out and put it in an envelope so that way we can find out together." 

I could tell Harry was happy with the decision. "That's such a good idea, but are you sure you don't want to go ahead and know so we can get the house ready?" Harry had a good point but I knew that we could do it once he got back.

Danielle drove over the bumpy patch that personally signalled that we were almost home. "You have a good point Harry, but I really want to find out together, then once we both find out I can get the paint and furniture for him or her. I've already gotten some gates for when they start getting older and some diapers for him or her." 

"Wow, you're getting the ball rolling, aren't you?" He chuckled along with me. "Well, it sounds like you're about home so I'll let you get back to your day. I'll message you when our flight lands. I love you."

"Okay," I replied once Danielle pulled into the driveway. "I love you, too. Be safe!" Harry said that he would and then we ended the phone call. I looked over at Danielle and Eleanor who shared the same grin. "What?"

"Our flight leaves in about five hours," Eleanor said, shooting me the biggest grin ever. I remembered that Dani said she was planning to go to New York with Ell, was that what she was talking about? I wasn't sure because they kept looking between them and then back at me. My eyes widened and I turned around as fast as I could. "While you were in the emergency room, I was out ordering us three plane tickets."

"Eleanor," I whispered in disbelief. 

"It's true!" I glanced over at Danielle who just smiled. "Girls, tomorrow we will be in New York City." I let out a small happy scream. I was actually going to see Harry tomorrow. I could actually be held by my man.
