Chapter 21

"Ris, go with Louis. He'll protect you." I nodded as Harry turned around walking away from me.

"What no goodbye kiss? This could be the last time you will probably ever see me." Harry stopped in his tracks, spinning on his heel. "All I want is a kiss." I wanted to have a kiss with Harry because I wanted that to be the last memory I had of Harry. But I never wanted to tell Harry that. Harry walked to me, picking me up when he got in arm's reach. Tears were falling now. "I love you, Harry. I have since the day you saved me." Harry smiled a small cheesy grin at me. My heart shattered at the sight of him.

"And I've loved you the day I saved you. I will always love you Sharissa Elizabeth Styles." I started to cry harder. To him, I'd always be a Styles. Harry pressed his lips to mine, kissing me hard. The kiss felt as if it were creating sparks. I smiled into the kiss, knowing it could be our last. Harry pulled away, obviously not wanting to. "Ris. You'll always be here with me. And I'll always be with you." I felt like I was in some sad romantic movie. "I've got a similar necklace to the one I gave you." I smiled, bringing the necklace out from my shirt.

"Harry, I don't want to leave you," I sobbed.

"I know. I know." He sighed, trying to hold back tears. "Just think of it as the day before a wedding. You know like how the groom can't see the bride a day before the wedding?" I nodded. Such a vivid tradition on my family.

"But, you might not ever get to see me." Harry cupped my face.

We looked between eyes for a few seconds. "We will see each other again." His green eyes pierced into me. "I promise." Those two words built confidence in my system. I was no longer afraid. "Don't look back." Lou walked over to us, wrapping me in one of his arms. Time seemed to go in slow motion. Louis and I walked out of the room, but I glanced over my shoulder. I looked back, yes. I looked back at the only guy I ever truly loved. I looked back at someone who I was meant to be with. I looked back because I knew we would always find a way back to each other. Lou pulled me along, arm still intact around my shoulder. Harry raised his hand, and waved. My bottom lip quivered as I walked out of eyesight.

Niall walked out of his hotel room, eyes catching on me. Shay was right behind him, smiling until she saw the tears in my eyes. They exchanged a similar look. Lou shook his head, tears in his eyes. The grip around my backpack tightened. Instantly, my body started to shake. Lou rubbed my arm, knowing that I needed comfort. "You'll meet Liam in the lobby. He'll take you and protect you." My eyes grew huge. No. No! He couldn't! I tried to open my mouth to speak, but nothing. Absolutely nothing was able to come out. It was almost as if I had become a mute.

I swallowed hard and kept walking down stairs, as Lou stood at the top of them staring after me. My eyes scanned the room for Liam as soon as my feet hit the ground. "Ris." A voice came to my left. I snapped in the direction to see Liam. He ran over to me, wrapping me in a hug. "Come on. I rented a beach house out. It has furniture and all already in it." I nodded, body still shaking. Liam led me to a car that was parked right outside of the hotel. It probably only took about five minutes to get there.

Liam opened my door for me, helping me out. The house had a nice view of a beach for a backyard. Liam started walking, carrying all of my clothes. I followed him, shoving my hands into my hoodie pockets. Liam had left the door open so I walked right on in to see a room that looked like a living area. The walls were a nice sandy color, with carpet that was white. I took over the couch, pulling my shoes off. "Liam," I whispered. My voice seemed to echo through the house. It sent a shiver down my spine.

"Yeah?" Liam poked his head around the wall.

"I'm hungry." I heard Liam mutter something under his breath.
