Annie's P.O.V

I am sitting near a rock at an old runned down CVS. I'm still debating on going in. I can't think because I'm thinking about my family and friends. They're just gone. I even remember the day it all happened. On a day where you never want anything to go wrong. My 13th birthday..

~FLASHBACK~

We were sitting at the table eatting cake and ice cream. It was my 13th birthday. All my friends were over and my family of course.

It was a nice day. 90 degrees and sunny. I thought nothing could go wrong.

We all heard a pounding at the door and my mom went to go open it. We just sat there until we heard her scream. We all ran in there. All we saw was my mom being eatten by a creature and more filling in. They started eating everyone. I grabbed my sister's hand and dragged her into the kitchen  and told her to stay quiet. I grabbed a knife and ran back in.

I started killing every single one of those things. One by one. After the last one I ran to the door and locked it so no more could come in. I went upstairs and packed my clothes and my sister's clothes. I gradded anything else we would need that was upstairs as well.

I went back down stairs and my sister was still there. I started packing as much food as I could and any drinks we could drink. After that we took one last look around the house and left.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

That was 4 months ago in January. Its May now. It doesn't feel like its been long. It feels like just yesterday.

I even remember how my sister died. That really changed me.

~FLASHBACK~

Me and my sister were walking in an old neighborhood. "Riley, hurry up!" "I'm trying! My feet hurt. Can we take a break?" She was really starting to bug me. "No we need food. I don't want you to starve." After that she said something and we got into a agurement.

We were yelling pretty loud. I was so angry I didn't even notice a biter behind her. "RILEY LOOK OUT!" But it was to late. Her screams ringed in my ears. "NO!" I stabbed the biter in the head over and over again.

I stopped finally and turned to my sister. At this point I was full on sobbing. Nothing hurts more than watching your 6 year old sister get torn apart. "Riley I'm so so so sorry" "It's okay Annie. I'll tell mommy and daddy you miss and love them." Her eyes started to close and her breathing stopped. "No. NO. NO NO NO! RILEY!" I just looked at her and cried every single tear I kept in me. But then her breathing started again. Her eyes opened but I didn't see that same sparkle. All I saw was death.

I took out my gun and shot her in the head. "I'm sorry Riley.." I whispered. I just sat there starring at her life less body and cried. And cried. And cried. The only thing I had left was gone.

~END OF FLASHBACK~

I felt tears in my eyes but I wiped them away and headed inside the CVS. I was empty and clear of biters. For now.. I walked down every single aisle. I took everything I needed. I guess they restocked before this happened because they had a lot of stuff.

I was about to head out when I heard a noise come from an aisle.

I started heading torwards the noise. I took out my gun that now had a silencer on it. I waited a few seconds and turned the corner and saw..
