I haven't been in a hospital since I was around five years old. I remember I was staying at great aunt Bettie's house, when she got the call to say my parents had been murdered. At that time, I didn't fully realize that my parents were gone. However, when the doctor came out to tell me that Toni was dead, I felt my heart break. I knew, know, how she killed her brother, after finding out he'd slept with me. I knew, know, that she was in love with me. As horrible of a person as she was, she saved me. That car would've hit me, but she jumped in front of me. It doesn't make me forgive her for killing Caspar, but if it weren't for her, I probably wouldn't be alive right now. For that I am thankful.
