My eyes flicked open as i felt something heavily drop onto me.
Calum's cheeky, innocent smile appeared on his face as he pulls my blankets off me.
"Hey! give them back! Im cold! " I whine as he throws them out of my reach.
He just laughs in response and rips oped the curtains to reveal blinding white light which made me shield my eyes with my hands.
"ITS SNOWING!" he shouts happily.
"No wonder its so cold." I grumble and crawl over to where my blanket is and wrap it around my freezing body, making myself a tight cacoon of warmth.
"Lets go outside!" He says and drags me off the bed.
I sigh and stand up, realising that with Calum around im not going back to sleep.
"Why are you so happy? it snows here all the time." I said as I pulled on some pants and a warm sweater.
"Because it didn't snow where I lived back in Sydney!"
"Let's go." I say as I pull a beanie on my head and slip on my shoes.

One hand was buried deep in my pocket, while the other laced together with Calum's. We strolled down the streets, trudging through the snow just talking about everything.
Calum was telling a story of what happened to him yesterday but I soon tuned out to what he was saying because i realised that snow was falling from the sky and a snowflake landed on my nose. I stopped walking and so did he as he looked at me with a confused expression. I went cross-eyed trying to see the snowflake and he just laughs and pulls me closer to him.
"You are so cute when you go cross-eyed." he giggles.
"The snow is getting quite bad. should we go home yet?" I ask.
He agrees and we walk home.
When we are just about home the snow started getting really heavy.
We both sprinted the rest of the way
laughing.
I quickly unlocked the door and we both scurried through the door, still laughing.
"Oh my god its so cold!" I shiver.
"Should we get some blankets and hot chocolate and have a movie marathon then?" he suggests.
I agree and we spend the rest of the night watching my favourite movies with my boyfriend.
