Adam's POV:

I woke up to the sound of my alarm for 7 am. I stabbed the screen, groaning. Ugh, why is it soo bright? What's the date? It's August, right? I glanced at my phone and say that it was August 10th.

Oh damnit! I got up and snuck into the bedroom, not wanting to disturb the sleeping Leslie. She was curled up and her hair spread out behind her head, making me want to grab my camera.

I kissed her forehead and disappeared into the bathroom to get ready for this day.

I pushed the eggs on the pan, trying to not break up the curds of egg

I pushed the eggs on the pan, trying to not break up the curds of egg. Hmm...the French Toast smells so good. Is Leslie awake yet? It was 8 am, I'm just glad she's sleeping. Everyone knows that girl gets less sleep than the CEO of the company.

Leslie's POV:

I wake up to the seagulls at the balcony, making me glance at my phone. It's freaking 10 past 8 am! I throw off the sheets and run into the bathroom like a maniac, needing to get ready quick.

I head to the kitchen quietly, seeing that Adam is at the stove. He singing along to Luke Bryan, his voice quite good. I softly walked up behind him as he sang into the wooden spoon with bits of spinach hanging off it. I slid my arms around his midsection, immensely enjoying the feel of his muscle and warmth.

"Wha-oh, Morning Leslie. I was just um, making breakfast." He stammered, turning pink.

"Morning, don't worry I won't tell anyone. So, whaddya make?" I chuckled, grabbing plates for us and bringing them close to the pans.

"Scrambled eggs with spinach, mushrooms, and pepper jack cheese. And cinnamon French Toast. Obviously, all served with green tea!" He announced with a flourish whilst he plated.

"Hidden chef and singer? How did I not discover these things in the past year!?" I giggled, bringing our plates to the balcony. He followed with the green tea.

We gobbled up breakfast and talked about our plans for today.

Adam's POV:

When we were eating breakfast, I couldn't get over the fact that she wasn't embarrassed to be in my shirt. She wore it well, making me feel like picking her up and announcing to the world that she was (almost) mine.

Throughout the day, we went spent time in the pool, on the private beach and took a drive to the grocery store to pick up more food for tomorrow. At around 5 pm we headed back to the room.

Leslie's POV:

"I can't tell you." was his response every time I asked why, which was fairly often.

Teresa was already waiting in our room, makeup, curling iron, and setting spray already set out.

    "I'm very confuzzled."

"You won't be in," she glances at the clock,"1 hour and 52, wait no 51 minutes. Now go sit in the chair."

After one painful hour, I was dressed in a pretty black-pink outfit that I didn't know Teresa brought. How did she even know my size?

"I'm gonna cry!!!" She announced after I twirled around for her. She steered me to the couches and told me to wait.

And not too long after, a knock sounded and Adam's voice said,

    "Can I come in?"

I stood up and opened the door to reveal him standing in a light blue button down and black dress pants, looking quite fine. He was also holding a pretty pink bouquet, which he offered me. I accepted it and set it in the vase that Teresa had set out.

     "Ready?"
      "Yup!"

3rd Person POV:

They walked hand in hand out of the hotel and onto the private beach. Walking up a wooden staircase, they ended up on a wooden deck, over the waves. When she paused from admiring the view so much, she realized that there was only one table there, set for two. Leslie looked up at Adam who was nervously looking at her to ask whether she liked it or not.

"'course I do." She whispered, kissing his jaw. They stood at the front of the deck, looking out into the horizon with the sun beginning to dip into the orange and magenta background.

Adam took both of her hands, as they faced each other.

"Leslie, in June when we went to formal together, I realized a lot of things. I realized I wanted to enjoy more of your smiles. Spend more midnights working through projects, dancing to slow and fast songs alike. And having Harry Potter marathons. I want to keep hugging you and I would introduce you to everyone at work and other places as my girlfriend-as the first girl to capture my heart-so I ask, Leslie, will you be my girlfriend?"

Leslie's eyes grew wide, and she bit her lip, a sure sign of her wheel turning. After an eternity, she broke out into a smile and yelled out, "Yes!"

Adam mirrored her smile and came close to her, leaning down to come close to her face,

"I look forward to this too," he says before gently pressing his lips to hers, a first for both.
