When He Asks You Out

"Dammit, dammit I'm running late why am I like this." You grabbed your phone and car keys and ran out of the door glad that what you needed was already in the car. You put the key in the ignition and set up your phone so you can listen and answer messages if you need to. You were driving faster than usual not trying to be later than what you were. You phone beeped signaling a text

"Message from Minato." The machine read it and you smiled to yourself

"Read the message" The machine complied and the text was read

"Hey Y/N, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind meeting me at the park near my house after work." You contemplated thinking on what you had to do and when you came up empty handed you smirked

"Reply to message... I would love to. See you later." The message was sent and your heart was thumping with excitement looking forward to tonight

*TIMESKIP TO TONIGHT AT THE PARK*

You looked at your phone and it read 8:30 and you looked around to see if Minato was around.

"Looking for me?" You jumped yelping and you turned to see Minato sitting down next to you with a smile.

"Where did you come from?!" He laughed and pointed behind him where there was a narrow path.

"It's easier to get here from that path." You nodded so you both made idle chat and before you know it, it was 10

"It's time for me to go home." You stood up and he stood up along with you

"Please let me walk you to your car." You smiled nodding and as you two walked to his car you ended up holding his hand but it was comfortable and not awkward. We got to my car and before i opened the door he pulled my hand gently to get my attention

"Uh...I had a good time today..." He was really nervous and you felt your cheeks flush "I was just wondering...If you would like to know...be my girlfriend?" Your jaw slacked and you wasted no time in answering

"I would love to be your girlfriend." He looked up surprised and let out a relieved laugh

"I was worried you would say no." You both laughed then he squeezed your hand "Thank you...Text me when you get home Y/N." He kissed your cheek which were red hot. You went inside your car and he stood outside of his house watching you until you disappeared in the night.
