Chelstopolis - Author of 'Santa's Not Fat'

Today I interviewed the famous Chelstopolis who is the author of 'Santa's Not Fat!'

Santa's Not Fat:

A tradition goes that every year, Santa’s first born son will be the next Santa once the original Santa reaches the age of 50. When Santa’s son is five, he must look down and select someone that he thinks will be perfect for him. He then must wait for her until her twenty-second Christmas. Through those years, the girl must remain pure until the night of Christmas Eve, where she and her Santa will be together.

Porter chose the wrong girl.

He watched down in horror as exactly twenty-seven days before Christmas she lost her purity to some guy she met in a club. In the generations of seventy-three Santa’s, no one has ever chosen the wrong girl. He can’t become Santa without a wife. Without his other half. He is a disgrace to his family, and to the entire world.

That’s when he lays eyes on his chosen’s best friend. With her long, chestnut ringlets and shining blue eyes, she was a sight to see. So much more beautiful than his chosen. And she was pure.

Santa offers Porter a deal. Starting on December 1st, he has twenty-five days to make his chestnut-haired beauty fall in love with him, and unite with him on Christmas Eve. If he fails, then the position of Santa goes to his younger brother and his chosen one.

Porter’s ready for the challenge, though. Looking down at stubborn-headed, Holiday-loving Kristina Walsh, he knows he made a mistake. She was his other half. And he was going to have her, no matter what it took.

Olivia: When you have spare time would you mind if I gave you an interview and asked you a few questions?

Chelstopolis: Haha, no, of course not!!! I don't know how fast I'll be able to answer you, but I don't mind at all :)

Olivia: Aha that's okay and thank you x Okay! First question: Your book 'Santa's not Fat' is certainly a unique plot! Can you tell me what inspired you to write it? :)

Chelstopolis: Haha, honestly? Well, you see, I was kinda staring at a picture of a hot, shirtless guy wearing a Santa hat... And it kinda just came to me...  

Olivia: Ahaha nice ;) Are you a fan of pretty little liars (I'm guessing yes) because that show is my life!?

Chelstopolis: I cannot even begin to describe to you my deep, intense obsession with it. My life literally revolves around that show. I even have the jacket from Aeropostale. My walls are covered in posters. I spend time researching it and stalking fanpages. It's all I talk about. It's really bad. Like, you don't even know.

Olivia: Aha I feel you :) What book are you currently reading on Wattpad? :)

Chelstopolis: As horrible as it sounds, I honestly don't read that much on wattpad. I usually read published books. I do, however, run to Perfectly Bad by @Charnee, Float by @ToastedBagels, Lucky Kiss Number 13 by @Choocolate, and Player and the Geek by @LilMissCliche every time they are updated. Perfectly Bad is spectacular, too. I love it so much, along with the first book, Perfectly Broken.

Olivia: I love the book Float by @ToastedBagels! It's amazing! Anyway aha, did you ever expect your book to become so popular and well known?!

Chelstopolis: ABSOLUTELY NOT. I don't even know what happened. Like, I worked so hard all summer to try and get my stuff out there and more well-known. And then I post Santa's Not Fat, and boom! The entire population of wattpad is reading it. I'm still convinced that I'm dreaming. Watch, I'll wake up any minute now and this interview won't be real.

Olivia: Aha, 'Santa's Not Fat' is amazing, of course everyone is reading it! I hope this interview is real aha! :) Do you have any books you are thinking of starting after you have finished 'Santa's not Fat'?

Chelstopolis: Well, I have all the 'coming soon' stories on my profile. And then I've been talking about Cupid Doesn't Wear Diapers on my past two chapters.

Olivia: Oh yeah! I remember you mentioning that! aha!

(Sorry, another Pretty Little Liars question) Who is your favourite characters from PLL?

Chelstopolis: Haha, Alison :)

Olivia: I love Hannah, she's so amazing! :)

Chelstopolis: *Hanna

Olivia: OMG, oops, bad spelling, sorry!

Chelstopolis: Haha, it's fine. I'm just picky about my Pretty Little Liars :P

Olivia: Ahaha :) Okay, back to the interview: who is your favourite character out of all of your books?

Chelstopolis:Omg, I have to pick one?? Okay, uhm... I know the story is currently on hold, but I love, love, love Sasha from Nude. She's probably my favorite.

Olivia: Nice :) Do you have any tips for writers out there?

Chelstopolis: Oh, gosh, I'm totally horrible at giving advice. Uhm... Okay, grammar is a thing. Use it. Also, so is originality. Just because everyone else is writing about something doesn't mean you should. In fact, it's even more reason to stray away from it.

Olivia:That was great advice! x What would you do if a publishing agency picked up your book and wanted to publish it?

Chelstopolis: Cry. Throw a party. Rejoice. Pinch myself to verify I'm not dreaming. Cry some more.

Olivia: Ahah aww! Well thank you sooo much for answering all those questions and agreeing to do this interview! x
