Drishtaayyy - Author of 'I Love You, Bestfriend'

Today I interviewed the famous Drishtaayyy who is the author of 'I Love You, Bestfriend'

I Love You, Bestfriend:

"I love you, Ashton" I whispered to his sleeping face, being careful so he doesn't hear. Quickly kissing him on the cheek, I run away knowing that he can't know, and he will never know. I'm in love with my bestfriend. "Diana?" Ashton's voice stops me. Tears threaten to fall down, but I push them away. "Yes?" "Could you please call Mel?" He replies. I nod and walk away.

Olivia: Hey, would you mind if I gave you an interview? :)

Drishtaayyy: Nope, you can go ahead :)

Olivia: Really? Yay!! x What inspired you to write 'I Love you, Bestfriend'?

Drishtaayyy: My life and how i wanted to make a difference, let all the girls know who are in love that they aren't the only ones who feel that pain and it doesn't make them weak, it is okay to cry and to be in love with your bestfriend. That it is okay to love.

Olivia: Aww that's such a good message to send across :) What book are you currently reading and which is your favourite on Wattpad? x

Drishtaayyy: I'm currently reading pride and prejudice as well as re reading the infernal devices for the 3rd time xD On wattpad I'm reading a year gone wrong and ice princess. My wattpad favorites are: (i don't have only one).

1) one of the boys

2) life with the walker boys

3) life with the walter boys

4) princess charming

5) bet gone wrong

Olivia: OMG I love life with the walker boys, I feel sad that that's the only one of I've read on the list! aha. Who is your favourite male character out of every single book you've ever read on Wattpad and in published books?

Drishtaayyy: Hahaha xD read them, they're wonderful! Um from wattpad there is: Lee (princess charming) and Mason (life with the walker/walter boys i don't remember :|) As for published: Percy Jackson (percy jackson) William Herondale, Magnus Bane (the infernal devices) Jace Herondale(the mortal instruments) Agustus Waters (the fault in our stars) Dimitri Belikov (vampire academy) There are a lot more, the list is never ending xD

Olivia: Oh my god your published character favourites are the exact same as mine, although I prefer Adrian to Dimitri! aha. What genre is your favourite to write and which one would you want to write or try out? :) x

Drishtaayyy: I love adrian too even Christian<3 and tobias and gods SO MANY. I love writing fictional romance because thats the best kind there is. I would love to write a complete fiction novel once, maybe vampires xD? Or maybe something new and unheard of. That would be something i would want to try in the future

Olivia: Christian and Lissa = perfection aha! Nice :) When you first started out your book, did you ever expect it to become this popular and well known? :)

Drishtaayyy: Oh my gods! No like NEVAH in a million years did i expect this. I'm so happy, i can't describe it :')

Olivia: Haha, well you definitely deserve the reads, your book is amazing! xx :) Who is you favourite character in your book? 

Drishtaayyy: I personally love Mason<3

Olivia: aha, yeah, he's great <3  Totally unrelated interview question but omg! You watch the vampire diaries and originals too? no way!

Drishtaayyy: Haha YES OF COURSE. I LITERALLY WAIT FOR EPISODES TO COME OUT IN EACH OF THEM, and when I'm done watching all I'm like: Okay, my life is over.

Olivia: IKR! I CAN'T BELIEVE WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE NEW SEASON OF VAMPIRE DIARIES AND ORIGINALS! It's torture! aha. haha, anyway! Next question- Do you have any advice for writers out there? :)

Drishtaayyy: Haha true true! SO MUCH WAIT! Um, yes. Well i have a lot of writers inboxing me to read their stories and follow them. It gets really annoying, you don't need someone else to check your book just because their book is famous it looks like a desperate attempt to gain readers. If you believe in yourself and you think you're doing a good job, you will get the out come you deserve, if not you can always try another time and another time. Don't ask people to read it, let the readers come to you. That will be a different feeling of pride and satisfaction x
