Orangechicken - Author of 'I'll Protect You'

Today I interviewed the famous Orangechicken who is the author of the Wattpad famous book we all know and love 'I'll Protect You' and the amazing sequel 'I'll Defend You.'

If you haven't checked out her works yet, please do because she is really talented! 

I'll Protect You:

Meet Logan Cross. He's young, handsome, and absolutely brilliant. He roams the halls of Cross Academy as the boy genius, admired and loved by everyone around him.

Except for one.

Enter Park Sparrow. She's your average, cliche, scholarship student that made it in because she was just smart. Park's your daily outcast you meet in the halls, the only one with bright yet dark red hair and sarcastic remarks towards everyone and everything. She's the only one who doesn't trail the prince like the puppy--in fact, they hate each other.

That is, until the fateful day where secrets are uncovered.

Turns out your boy genius is a also a top class agent, and was chosen for the ultimate job of being the Princess of Cimeria's guard. Park's your princess, living undercover as a citizen of Paradise, Montana when she's actually the heir to the throne of a kingdom.

Park and Logan must learn how to put aside their differences and get along, because Park is in grave danger. As they work together to put together the mystery of who wants Park's throne, they must face new complications and obstacles that will be much more difficult than just a school yard grudge.

Olivia: Hey, would you mind answering a few questions for an interview? (Btw, I love your books, they are just, perfect!)

Orangechicken: No, go ahead! And thank you very much!

Olivia: No problem! What inspired you to write 'I'll protect you'?!

Orangechicken: I was watching The Princess Protection Program, and I was thinking what if I took a really cliche idea and wrote it, trying to make it not as cliche as possible? And that's how I'll Protect You came out.

Olivia: I love that movie aha! Who is your favourite character in your books? :)

Orangechicken: This is so hard...it's like picking between children that don't really exist. Umm...Park, Alec, Logan, and now Lucas!

Olivia: Ahaha! Do you have any new stories that you want to write after your sequel is done? :)

Orangechicken: Yeah, actually! I'm hoping on writing a few stories while writing the sequel at the same time, I just haven't time to start any of them.

Olivia: Can't wait to read them :) I'm guessing you've read quite a few Wattpad books? So which one of the books have the best and hottest, male main character? (besides your own fabulous male characters)

Orangechicken: Lol, why thank you. I'm sure the boys would be glad to hear that xD Oh god, that's really hard....well, I started Kiss Cam, and Jasper Lahey in there is just perfect. Absolute perfection. Alec Blaze in Maid For Hire aint' such a bad guy either (; Ryder Collins from Handcuffs, Kisses, and Awkward Situations is another favorite.

Olivia: Why are fictional boys always so perfect!? Ahaha. Besides the obvious genre of Teen Fiction/Romance/Humor - that kind of thing - which other genre do you write or would like to try?! :)

Orangechicken: I know right?? I want to try paranormal/humor and I also want to see if I can write a good vampire book. No dominant vampire prince with a girl that's fascinated by him, but like a good, legit, well-functioning vampire story of YA material
