Forbidden (Dramione)

Hermione

Hermione couldn't believe it. 11 OWLs with 10 Outstandings. That was the highest score in the school since Dumbledore. "Really Hermione, " Ron shook his head, " It's a wonder you're not in Ravenclaw. " She laughed. That's when Mrs. Weasley hurried them out of the house to go to Diagon Ally.

It took all of them to convince Mrs. Weasley that they could go with Hagrid to Madame Malkins once they arrived, but they managed.  It's hard not to look around once inside. They had the prettiest blue dressrobes that sparkled in the light with diamonds. Ron noticed her staring at them and sighed, "Girls..." he sighed. Hermione stuck out her tongue, then saw that Harry was looking stoney-faced towards something by the mirrors. Then she heard the drawling voice of the Slytherin she hated, Draco Malfoy. "Mother don't turn around, you'll be blinded by that mudblood by the door." (a/n I don't want to quote the book because that would be illegal and there's no bibliography, obviously, but I don't mean to offend anyone with the improper words. Keep in mind this isn't the original story anyway. Wow that was Percy-ish.) That stung, but we just ignored him and coninued shopping. By the time they left he was gone, and Hermione, Ron and Harry had calmed down. "Git," Ron glared at the door but they quickly headed for Weasley's Wizard Weases.

    Heading back, they passed Nocturn Ally only to see Draco and his mother. "I'm not a child mother surely me going off on my own can be expected." His voice carried up from a whole street away and his mother hushed him. "Ha!" Ron sniggered. "His mummy didn't look very happy. Bet he gave her the slip." Harry laughed with Ron and Hermione smiled, but there was something else in his mothers face, as well as in Draco's. It was the same look Ron got when she and Harry mentioned Lord Voldemort. It was fear.  Breathtaking fear. But why would they be scared? Troubled, Hermione followed Harry and Ron back to Hagrid and Mrs. Weasley. 

Hi! it's a new story so hope you enjoy it. I just have to clear something up. This is before school just to get the stage set. All of the "magic" pardon the pun, happens at Hogwarts.
