"Blaze, there's someone here to see you", an officer called me by my last name.

I looked up from my sitting position, "I didn't even get a call yet", I sighed.

"He's bailing you out", Officer 'NoOneGivesAFuck' told me, "Get up."

I sat up and stared at the last person that I ever expected to be here, "Calum", I said softly, all sarcasm and confidence was drained from me.

"Let's go", Calum simply replied while walking away.

I nodded in reply before getting up and walking out with pure silence, Calum called the cops on me. Sure, he had every right, but he took it very far. I did too but...there's no way of arguing my way out of this one.

I got the vibe that Calum didn't want to talk so I stayed silent as we drove off.

After about fifteen minutes of silence, Calum finally spoke again, "Just so you know, I wasn't the one who called the cops. I knew what you were up to...", he trailed off.

I looked up, "Oh...do you know who did?"

He shrugged, "Not sure."

I nodded, "Thanks for bailing me out..."

He stayed silent.

"Thank you for bailing me out", I said a bit stronger now.

"What do you want me to say Summer", he asked while gripping the wheel, making his knuckles go white.

"I don't know", I put my head in my hands, "I just wanna know that we forgive each other."

"How can you be so sure that I forgive you? Just because you don't wanna live with the guilt, doesn't mean you're forgiven", he said in exasperation.

"I-I'm sorry", I looked up at him.

"You're forgiven. Happy? Feel better? Are you gonna be able to sleep tonight? I hope fucking so because I wasn't ready to give that apology up", he rolled his eyes.
