•おはよう••Ohayou•
•お早う•
-Good Morning.
-It is used as an greeting.
-The word itself is used among friends and people you know closely.
-To add more of a respectful tone, i.e to Elders, Boss, Teachers, or people you just met.
-You can add:
•おはよう ございます••Ohayou Gozaimasu•
•お早うございます•
The above underlined ます 【Masu】is a polite form added to the end of sentences or words to make them more polite/respectful while addressing others.
•I'll cover that in the further grammar chapter.•
~Sentence Example:
(You can try reading it yourself.)•おはよう きむらさん、ちょっと あつい です ね。
•Ohayou Kimura san, chyotto Atsui desu ne.
•お早う木村さん、ちょっと暑いですね。
〔Translation〕Morning Kimura, it's a little hot today, isn't it?
Greeting will be introduced one by one. :)Additional note: The pattern I'm using to teach the words will be Hiragana, Katakana, Romaji, Kanji (If applicable) and last, the meaning.
•There are no actual spaces between words in Japanese.
The first sentence I have written is for your better understanding until you grasp the concept and know when to differentiate the words. This is it for today!
Hope it was informative and easy to understand.
It is my first time doing something like this.If you don't understand something, feel free to ask. :)
