BFF's or a couple?

Chapter 1

A/N: This is my first story and it's all over the place. I wrote this in 2014 and I was a yb!!! Don't judge!

I unpublished it and I was gonna edit the whole story so it wouldn't be as embarrassing, but it that was too much work..... lol

My name is Diana Bates. I have the greatest best friend in the whole world. I know you might think my BFF is a girl but it's actually a boy, Justin Carbs. We've been friends for 13 years. Ever since we were 1. Right now, we're just sitting on my porch eating popsicles.

"I love these popcicles. Where'd you get them?" Justin asked. "Walmart," I replied. "Oh. Duh," Justin said while laughing.

"Justin, I love you," I said while smiling. Then Justin smiled. "Love you too," he said

By 'love' I mean best friend love. But our parents keep saying soon 'love' will mean actual love. But Justin and I know they're playing. I don't want to go out with my best friend.

"So you want to go out to dinner with my family? We're going to your favorite restaurant and I thought you'd like to come," I said.

"Yes!" Justin said with excitement.

"Well ask your Mom," I said "I know what to do," Justin said then punching my arm in a friendly way.

"Then do it," I said.

My older brother came outside. Well he's only a year older than me.

"Diana, stop flirting with your boyfriend and come inside. We gotta go!" he said. "He's not my boyfriend, Drew. And he might come with us. He has to ask," I explained.

"Well he needs to hurry. Mom and Dad are hungry," Drew said. "I should ask now," Justin said while getting up and leaving. A coulpe minutes later Justin came back. He lives around the corner so it was quick. He's really dumb, he could've just called.

"I can go," Justin said while smiling. "Great!" I said with excitement.

It's fun going to dinner with Justin because I have nice food and some comedy entertainment by him.

"Where did Drew go?" Justin asked. "To get everyone so we can leave," I replied.

My parents and my siblings came out.

"Diana, is your boyfriend coming?" my sister, Dana, asked. She's my other sibling. We're the same age. "Yeah. But he's not my boyfriend!" I snapped.

"Oh, please. Its not just our parents and Justin's parents that think you guys are cute together. It's me and Drew and other people. In fact almost everybody in middle school thought you guys were a good couple, and people in high school will think that in a week," Dana whispered in my ear.

OMG I didn't know that many people thought about us like that.
