BFF's or a couple?

Chapter 16

Diana's POV

"Why did you push Justin and start banging on those lockers?" the principal asked.

"Because I was mad..." I said with an attitude. "Well all you have detention," he said. "Bye," I said and left.

Well now I have detention cause of Justin!

He's starting to bug me, like really bug me. He spends so much time with Carly and I hate her so much.

I walked out of the office and walked passed Justin. "Diana can we talk?" he asked. "No," I said and walked to class.

The next day during lunch, I sat with Rachel and Justin sat with us and then Rachel and I automatically got up and went to a different table.

In class, I was sitting in the back, and Justin came and sat next to me.

"Who said you could sit here?" I asked. "Are we still best friends?" he asked. "I want to but, I'm mad at you. I'm not even sure how I feel about you," I said. The bell rung and I got up and walked out the classroom.

Justin's POV

I really miss having Diana as my best friend I can't believe this happened. Now she's never going to forgive me for ditching her and being with Carly and not her. And I'm not sure if Zoe's gonna stop being mad at me either.

I walked out of the classroom upset.

"Baby, what's wrong?" Carly asked and then kissed me for half a second.

"Nothing. I see you changed your hair," I pointed out.

Her hair was naturally curly, usually she has it straight with some curls.

"Yeah, I just like to straighten and then curl it a lot. But today I just decided to wear it natural," she explained.

"Cool. It's really pretty," I said. "Thank you," she said and smiled. "So school is almost over, want to go to the mall after school?" she asked.

I looked over and saw Diana staring at me and then turned away, she looked a little sad.

"Um, sure. we can go," I said.

"Cool, I--"

"Carly, mom's on the phone she wants to talk to you," Lucy said from down the hall.

"Oh, welll, see you in class," Carly said and kissed me. "Carly! Mom is waiting!" Lucy said. Then Carly stopped and walked down the hall.

Diana walked passed me and I waved but she just continued walking. I can't stand Zoe and Diana being mad. Well, I should just call Zoe, she'll forgive me easily. I pulled out my phone and called her. She answered on the 5th ring.

"What? I'm in school and in middle school, they don't allow phones to be out! My phone started ringing and I had to run to the bathroom! This better be important!" she shouted. "I'm sorry, Zoe. I'm sorry for not bonding with you and always being with Carly," I apologized.

"Well.... okay. Can we do something after school?" she asked.

"I'm going to the mall with--"

"Wow." She hung up.

I called her back.

"Whaaaaat?!" she shouted. "You can come with us," I said. "But I want to be alone with you," she said. "Come on, if you come, you'll meet Carly and you'll both love each other," I said "I said I want us to hang out alone!" she snapped. "Look, how about you come with us to the mall with us and then after dinner, I'll ask mom to drop us off at the movies," I suggested. "Okay, cool," she said and hung up.
