Chapter 6

This plan is perfect!

When Justin needs advice on girls, he comes to me. You know, cause I'm a girl and his best friend.

So, I'll give him the wrong advice!

The next day at school, I was waiting for Justin to come to me. I waited and waited and waited but he didn't come. So I went to him.

"Hey," I greeted. "Hey," Justin greeted back.

"So you want some advice on girls?" I asked.

"Yeah, I don't want to act like a fool on Saturday," he replied.

But he will.

At 11am on Saturday, I called Justin.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey, so I talked to Carly yesterday and she said she'd like you to take her to Outback," I said.

She hates Outback. "Then you can take her to see that new movie that came out last week, I forgot what it was called but it's about that girl and her dog," I said.

She said that movie was stupid.

"I know what you're talking about. Thanks, Diana," Justin said and hung up.

I called back. "Did to hang up without saying bye or I love you? Or making a weirdo noise?" I asked. We always do that before we hang up.

"Oh, I'm sorry," he laughed.

"Wait before you go, she likes boys who are serious, so don't be weird and make a lot of jokes."

"Okay."

She likes goofy boys.

I can tell their date will go bad!

Justin's POV

At 3pm, Carly and I arrived at Outback.

"We're going to Outback?" Carly asked.

"Yeah," I said with a smile. Then Carly sighed.

Maybe she's not in the mood for Outback because Diana said she loves this place.

"Thanks, mom," I said. Carly and I went inside.

"Welcome to Outback. How many?" The waitress asked.

"Two," I replied. "Oh, you're gonna have to wait," the waitress said.

"Oh, how long?" Justin asked.

"15--"

"15?!" Carly asked.

"--to 20 minutes" the waitress finished.

"20?!" Carly asked. "Yes," the waitress said.

Oh Lord.

When we sat down in a booth, we sat behind a family with noisy kids.

Then we had to wait 30 minutes for our food while Carly was starving. I'm feel so bad for her

Carly got a burger and it was overcooked. Also there was mustard and chopped onions on the burger, nobody likes mustard, and chopped onions are hard to get off.

This date is going bad...

At the movies we had a horrible time. The movie was bad, well for Carly. And we ordered nachos and there was something in it and neither of us knew what it was so we had to stop eating.
