Chapter 2: Gym Class

The teacher, mister Smith was talking to my class but he went silent when he saw me. The class turned around and saw me. There was a deadly silence in the room and I awkwardly walked over to the rest. This was the first time they noticed me and it felt horrible.

My teacher grabbed his student list. "H-hello, Kayla." He said nervously. "Uhh, he-hello mister Smith." I stuttered. "You can call me Bruce." he smiled. "Okay." There was no way that I was gonna call him Bruce.

When the gym session begun we played dodgeball. Luckily I was a pro at dodging balls. Throwing? Not really. I would just give the Ball to my teammates. Two people would pick their teammates and surprisingly, I was first. I know that it was because of my body, but still, I was first. The girl no one used to notice.

A guy named Ethan picked me. He looked very athletic so I think that we would win. On the other team, there was his brother, named Grayson. They looked like each other, but Ethan was cuter. There was still a deadly silence while I was ready to beat the other team. When the whistle was blown, I, Ethan and the other girls did our best to beat the other team, but I don't think that the boys were paying attention. When I turned around I saw the guys looking at me which made me very insecure. "Guys, can you PLEASE stop looking at my ass and focus on the game?"

They all looked confused at me and then realized it. When they focused on the game it was all way easier. We beat them and then we did some soccer. This time it was boys against the girls and we didn't play fairly, because as soon as I started running with the ball they were all just looking at my body. We did win because of that though.

When gym class was done we all went to the dressing room. The girls went silent until one girl said to me: "I like your clothes." I thanked her. "Thanks, but these aren't mine. I accidentally took my little sister's clothes." "Well, they look good on you." I thanked her again and she walked away.

Later on, we just had normal classes and as I was walking to my locker I saw a flyer hanging on the school walls saying:

School Dance

8th of March
Starts at 21.00
Ends at 23.00
Bring a date and don't let us wait🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I guess that I'm going to need a lot of chocolate...
I grabbed my stuff and I was waiting for Veronica. I saw her and she waved. She ran to me in her heels and smiled. "KAY, DID YOU SEE IT?" "Yes, I did. And you don't have to yell so loud." 'Sorry, I'm just so excited for tomorrow. " She says." "Do you think that they will let us sit together, if yes, I am going to sit by the window. I need something good for my snap chat stories." "I have no idea and you can sit by the window. I' ll probably sleep the whole fight." I shrugged. "NO, you will not." She strictly said. "You are going to interact with the rest and going to be in my snap chats." "Then you have to make them at the beginning of the flight," I said laughing.

"Whatever. Mini Cooper Karaoke?" "You know I can't say no to that." I laughed.
When I got home my dog jumped on top of me. "Hey, buddy," I said. "How are ya?" He didn't bark, he just shook his tail. I let him on the ground and went upstairs. I packed my suitcase and texted Veronica if she has packed hers already.

Kayla: Have you packed your suitcase yet?
Veronica: Of course I have, I have gotten 2 suitcases btw.
Kayla: why 2?
Veronica: Because of the mosquitos
Kayla: But how much can you have to fill 1 whole suitcase?
Veronica: I just don't want to get infected with malaria.
Kayla: If you say so... Save some for me too😉
Veronica: alright. See u tomorrow?
Kayla: byee
