村人
The girl was always outside. The villagers saw her practicing every morning. Actually, nobody really saw her... They still don't know what she looked like. She lived alone (the townspeople thought) in the forest. The villagers always looked down on her with disdain and scorn. They believed she was too high-and-mighty to socialize and talk with them, so they disregarded her. But when she disappeared, nobody noticed that she was gone... It was like she never existed.

Akai put the noodles on the stove. She had to eat soon, she had gone too long without it. Akai Senshi was a beautiful girl with long red hair and a hunger for learning. She also had piercing red eyes that often made her seem angry, but she was a sweet tempered girl. She hurriedly ate, already feeling better. However, she was too tired to stay awake for much longer. Eventually, she fell asleep on her red katana.
村人
The clouds covered the village. It was odd for such cold weather in the middle of summer, but the villagers thought it was a good day for planting winter gardens. They didn't notice the girl with the red sword, or the oni prowling around the forest perimeter. Suddenly, the villagers heard a scream coming from the elder's hut. Quickly, the villagers rushed to his aid. All they saw was a drop of blood on the tatami mats, and they felt a slight breeze. Again, the villagers didn't notice the spirit rushing away into the forest... except for a young boy of 13 years.
