SILENT SUFFERINGS

18 years ago, her parents wished it to be a boy,

But God had some different plans,

She popped out being a sad surprise,

She swears she would want to change it if she can,

When she thinks about the time back then,

She won't lie, it's something worth to remember,

The memories sure are a little blurry,

But trying to make her forget it, Oh time cannot trick her,

Because those are the good old memories,

That she plays back everyday in her head,

Missing those times, but why?

Oh, that is something that cannot be said,

The truth was that she was far from done,

And on the principles of patience she was surviving,

She never spoke straight in the fear of judgement,

So people never felt it through, on what she was implying,

Her growth always tampered by his cursing words,

Her education, always questioned by her father,

Always reminded that she was not of worth,

And that she wasn't going any farther,

For now the struggle continues,

For one day they might realize,

The sufferings that remain unspoken,

And the pain hidden in her eyes.
