The picture on the top, or right, whatever it is for you guys, is a picture of Kaito. Just black and white version lol. Ugh and sorry again that this chapter is so freaking short. Gomen! But please bare with me and continue reading!... I mean if you want to.

We reached the shop, the doors were wide open. I walked inside with Kaito following behind. I turned around to face Kaito and said,"You don't have to follow me around any more."

"Yeah but you might get lost, again. Remember last time you..." I gave him a glare that made him shut up right away. I gave him a look saying good, now stay quiet.

I turned back around and saw Bella standing there behind the counter talking to a middle-aged man. She looked over his shoulder and noticed me. She new right away it was me. Her eyes lit up with joy as she said 'excuse me' and headed towards where Kaito and I were standing awkwardly arguing like an old married couple.

Bella had long blonde hair that reached a little below her waist. Her eyes were a green earthy color. She was an inch taller than me. She was wearing long skinny jeans, a strapless green top, and no shoes. (None of our kind wear shoes. There's no need. We have wings and can fly Duh.)

"Nice outfit." I commented.

"Yours too." She said as she ran up and hugged me. She released me and turned to Kaito. "What are you doing here?" she said full of hatred. You see, Bella and Kaito aren't exactly on best terms with each other, obviously. They've never really gotten along even when they were little kids.

A long time ago we had a war and to make things short Bella believes that Kaito had left her when she was stuck fighting all by herself. But on the other hand Kaito says the same with Bella but the other way around. It's pretty complicated, and in my opinion a bit stupid. But that's all I know.

They glared at each other for a while before I broke the silence, "So I was wondering if you still had that book of wings?" Remembering why I had came here in the first place. She broke eye contact and looked around the store for a second, then she looked back at me.

"Yeah. I still remembered to hold on to it for you. Someone tried to purchase it the other day but I told them no," she said with a grin. "Let me go get it." She turned around and walked to the room that was in the back of the store.

She came back with a black covered book that had curvy golden letters that said 'The Wonders of Wings'.

I took it from her when she had handed it to me. I gave her a smile and said, "Well I better get going." I turned around to walk away but I felt a warm grip around my wrist. I turned around to see Bella looking at her feet still holding my wrist. 'Is that tears?' Drops of water rolled down her nose. "What's wrong?" I stepped closer towards her. I put my hand on her shoulder. She looked up at me.

I could see fright, anger, pain, and sadness flashing in her blue eyes. I've only seen that look once before. The day after the second war we ever had happen. Many soldiers died and many blood was shed. Any person would have been scarred just by watching it. But it was worse for us because we were actually in it.

That was the first war she's ever been in. After that she wasn't around the wars anymore. But she still helped. She escorted many civilians to the 'Safe Zone' island. The island that was never touched during war.

I rubbed her back. "I got a letter the other day." She said tears filing her eyes once more. (She had two jobs: running the shop during the weekends and being a towns messenger on the week days.) "I wasn't suppose to look at it but curiosity took the best of me." She said with a slight smile, "I regret doing that though," she said, the smile fading from her face. "The letter was for the king." She whispered as water started to pour out of her eyes. For a second I thought she was going to drown in her own puddle of tears. "They were declaring war again."

Alright. I'm starting to wonder where I was going with this story but oh well. Let's see if I can continue it without the help from my past self. Um, please continue reading with me and helping me along the way so I can develop in my skills. Arigato!
