In my walk-in closet I had many dresses but I never use them. Only for special occasions. I grabbed a light red dress that went down to my thighs. It had a bow on the side so I thought, I'll just use this dress. It's pretty. I shoved it back in the hanger and into my closet once again. "Now that picking a dress is out of the way. I should go gather some people to help me with the cake." I said to myself.
I walked into the kitchen to find workers rushing around with mixing bowls and utensils. "Looks like they're way ahead of me." I said as I leaned up against the door frame. "Well, I should see if the decoration room is doing anything." I said to myself as I walked down the long hallway. Pictures of our family blood line covered the halls. But what I had noticed was that they all had the same pure white feathers that me and my father had. 'Guess it runs in the blood.' I reached a room that had a sign saying 'Decoration Room'. {Wow. How convenient}
I grabbed the door knob and gave it a twist then a push. The door opened to a room filled with streamers, balloons and ball decorations. There were decorations for any kind of party. I could see that the workers were already getting ready for tonight's ball because there were angels of all types running back and forth from the ballroom that connected to the decoration room back to the other room. "Seems like they're ahead of me too. Since I don't need to take care of the decorations or anything else for this ball. I guess I'll go down to Bella's shop and buy my dad a present." I said as I went downstairs to the front door. I took my hooded cape, from the hook next to the door and walked outside.
I walked further out till I was on the golden path that lead to the end of the island. I spread my red, pink, and white wings out and jumped high into the air. My wings had caught me in midair. So I just hovered there over my giant castle on its own island. I looked around at the other floating islands and the white, fluffy clouds that drifted by. 'So beautiful' I thought.
I spotted an island, bigger than others, full of houses and shops. "There's the town." I said as I watched it float pass me. I used the wind to push myself and zoomed towards the Town.
I landed in the middle of the town. Threw my hood over my head so no one would recognize me and walked in the direction of Bella's shop.
Then out of nowhere I feel a big, warm, heavy hand fall on my shoulder. "Hey, princess. Where do you think you're going under cover like that?" A strong, deep voice asked me. I turned around but didn't look into his eyes, "No where you need to know, Kaito." I said as I forced myself to look into the flaming orange-yellow haired boy's ocean blue eyes.
"Aw. You don't have to act like that to your trusty friend." He said patting my back. "Don't call me princess or I'll be caught. I only came here to go visit Bella's shop." I whispered glancing around to see if anyone had heard. "Sorry." Kaito said putting his hands up. "Shall I escort you there?" He offered. "Fine." I said rolling my eyes playfully. He put his arm out for me to grab. I put my hand under his elbow and we floated towards town, our toes grazing the clouds beneath us.
Here's another one! So what I'm doing is going through these, pointing out the flaws that may have caught my attention. Please comment on the flaws that may have caught yours that I hadn't caught myself. If my grammar is poor I apologize. So something I noticed is that these chapters are exruciatingly short and totally boring so after I'm done going through the ones that I have already published I promise to make them longer and more eventful. Just think as these as introductions of some sort. Just bare with me please. Now go to the next chapter.
