'' Go to bed early sweetheart.Tomorrow it's a big day!'' my mom shouted from downstairs.

'' Yes mom i will'' i sigh and lay on my bed looking up at the ceiling.

'' Man i don't know anything about Korean schools.If only i could go back to Canada''

Yes.Summer is officialy over and I'm going back to base.And yes,i moved to Korea a month ago so i spent my summer doing absolutely nothing.

My mother is really excited because i'll finally be on highschool.

To be honest i'm not excited. Being away from my father sucks. My dad is Canadian and my mother Korean.Due to their divorse i had to move with my mother in Seoul.

I'm not good at starting from the beginning. Going to a new school full of strangers,making friends..Nope...I'm not good at that and   actually  I really don't know how I'm going to survive highschool.

But mom said that my cousin will be at the same highschool as me.That's a good thing because i want to see how he looks like now.

I grabbed my laptop and searched at Google '' how to survive highschool'' and i clicked at the first page i saw.

'' Step 1 ; Find new friends''

'' Okay pretty basic'' i mumbled

'' Step 2; Join a club''

'' Seriously i hope there's an interesting one.Last year i joined a club full of weirdos.''

'' Step 3; Find a crush but give him a nickname if you don't wanna get caught''

'' How is that even supposed to help me survive highschool?'' i laughed

'' Step 4; Don't get involved with drama.People in highschool are getting bored so they are starting out things.Trust me you don't wanna be a part of it''

'' Boring..Boring..''

'' Step 5; Don't rush to lose your virginity at this ag-''

I gasped and quickly closed my laptop living it at my nightstand.

'' Okay that's enough..Google is always saying stupid things so i'll probably be fine at school.''

I turned off the lights and went to bed.

'' Are you excited??'' my mom asked me while i was closing the car's door.

'' No.''

'' Oh come oooon!! This year is always fun.You're going at a big school full of hot boys aka your cousin ,plus you'll find real friends there.''

'' Real friends? Pfft oh please mom,it's 2017 real friends are endangered species..They do not exist..And i don't know if my cousin is hot i haven't seen him for 5 years so i can't judge that.''

'' Don't be so negative Jaime. Be positive.'' my mom smiled

'' Yeah,yeah..'' i looked outside the window

'' Oh look we're here!'' my mom pulled over.

'' Why did you have to stop the car in front the school mom?!'' i hid my face

'' Are you embarrassed of your own mother?Get out and go make friends!''  she poked my shoulder playfully and i got out of the car looking around.

'' Uh..I don't wanna do this can i please go back home?'' i begged her.

'' No missy you're going in there and learn some useful stuff.Now go .Bye see you later '' she started the car

'' No,no don't leave!''
