General POV

Sierra gets up around 11AM and quickly gets dressed for the day. Sierra goes running to Carlos's dorm, she knocks anxiously. Jay opens the door half asleep,

"Hey Sierra. Carlos is out with Evie." He says closing the door. She takes off for the picnic area and sees Carlos sitting with Evie and Doug. She grabs onto Carlos's arm quickly saying hi to her other friends sitting there. She pulls on his arm gesturing for him to go with her, he smirks and follows her silent commands.

The walk along the coast line in silence. Sierra liked it this way, knowing what was about to happen all she wanted was it to be silent for as long as possible, which thanks to Carlos wasn't that long.

"So what's up princess?" He asks, she takes a deep uneven breath before speaking,

"I was talking to my dad two days ago, and I wanted to leave it until today, since yesterday was our date." She takes her hand away from his and he looks at her confused, "Is it true you and the others only came over because Maleficent couldn't get the magic wand herself? And you guys are doing it for her so you can take over the world?" He looks away from her trying to think of a lie, she knows by her actions it was true,

"Sierra, let me explain." Carlos says realizing his actions gave it away, "When I first got here, I was all for the plan, but ever since I realized how much I like it here, I'm wavering between what I really want to do. But just think we could rule the world together, your mom and dad can live freely with no barriers." She backs away from him, "You can be home." She shakes her head in disgust and anger,

"How can you say that?" He looks at her confused, "I never wanted to rule the world. Yeah being the queen is my dream. My mom and dad are happy where they are and so am I. My home is sailing on the ocean, creating memories, causing mischief and chaos. Stealing valuables from people. That's my home, not here, not the Isle. I will never be home." She exclaims,

"Sierra-" She cuts him off with a scoff,

"Do you not understand? I'm the royal protector of Auradon, I'm becoming the queen in a few days. You really think I'm going to change my mind? I promised Belle and Adam I would protect this land until I die. I never thought I would have to protect them from you." She says sadly,

"I do understand, you're just like every other pretty pink princess on this island. I can't believe you're turning your back on your dad! I thought he meant the world for you. But obviously you wouldn't understand, you lived here." He scoffs turning away from her, she shakes her head and forces him to look at her,

"I'm not like the other princesses, cause I'm the only princess! I hate the thought of ballgowns and everything pink. It disgusts me! How can you say I don't understand and that I'm turning my back on my dad. I lived on the Isle for half my life. My dad is the only thing keeping me going at times. You don't understand the pressure that lays on my shoulders." She yells walking away.

Carlos realizes everything he just said and grabs onto her arm, she pulls it away,

"Don't touch me." She sniffles,

"I'm so sorry. I never meant to say those things. I didn't mean to hurt you." Carlos pleads,

"I thought you were different than your mom. But I guess I thought wrong, you're selfish and evil just like her." She throws his jersey in his face and runs away. He slams his hand against a post the cringes in pain. He storms off back to his room and locks the door. He sits down on his bed and starts crying.

Sierra runs over to a ship and sits on a sail pole. She cries and looks down at her hands, she sees the red magic lingering above her finger tips. She sniffs and smiles at the unclear sight, she looks over at the barrier and sees it's glowing red. She furrows her eyebrows and quickly makes the magic in her hands disappear, the red glow on the island also disappears and she shakes away the thought.

Back in the dorms, Jay walks happily into the room,

"Guess who talked to me today?" He asks being completely oblivious to the sad boy staring out the window,

"Who?" Carlos's voice cracks yet Jay doesn't notice it,

"Lonnie." He smiles. It takes him a second to realize the voice crack in the boy's voice and sits beside him resting his arm on his shoulder, "Everything okay?" Jay asks concerned,

"Sierra and I had a fight. She found out our plan. I tried making it better, but I ended up making it a whole lot worse." Carlos briefly explains, "I just blew everything." He sniffles. Jay squeezes his shoulder and spoke,

"Look, maybe you and Sierra weren't meant to be. It happens all the time here. She might be from the Isle but that doesn't change the fact that she cares for everyone here, they're here second family." Jay says, "Look just because she disagrees with what we're doing doesn't mean she likes you less than she did before." Carlos shakes his head,

"She compared me to my mother. Saying I was just like her, selfish and evil. How can someone say that?" Carlos rhetorically asks,

"Look, we all get compared to our parents. In good ways and in bad. Her father is Will Turner, the most sneaky pirate in all the land. Her mother is Elizabeth Swan, the drunk who got herself thrown on the Isle. Sierra has a rough family life, I think she's just taking her well kept anger out on you. Yeah she's mad about what we're planning to do to her people, but we have our reasons and she has hers." Jay explains. He squeezes Carlos's shoulder once more before leaving him alone.
