"Get to your lions!" Shiro yelled and I lifted my helmet up over my head, looking to Kieth who nodded to me and ran to his pod, I did the same, my lion welcoming me as I sat in my chair and grabbed the controls, flying out into space. "Everyone else get out okay?!" Shiro asked.

"I'm good!" I said and held my breath as the other two answered. "Keith?" I asked, waiting for him to respond, my heart in my throat.

"I'm okay. Sorry forgot to turn on the mike!" He laughed awkwardly and I sighed in relief as his face popped up on my screen. "What's the plan?" He asked and it was the princess who spoke.

"Stop this thing from destroying the ship!" She yelled and we all agreed, flying our lions to the monster, shooting at it. I got hit by a large tentacle and grunted, pushing my lion forwards and shooting at the monster desperately.

"Come on you piece of crap!" I yelled as I shot Ice at it, attempting to freeze it in order to pull it off the ship. But it just shattered the ice shards and I sighed in annoyance. "My attacks aren't affective!" I yelled and got hit again, being thrown out further into space, my lion thrashing to regain control of its movements.

"Lance are you okay?" I heard Keith ask as I landed on an asteroid.

"I should be fine. Blues taking a lot of damage I don't know how much more we can take." I called back and began to fly back to the others. I heard pidge scream and looked over to see her lion being pulled in towards the monster by a tentacle, at least the monster was off the ship now.

"Hang on pidge!" I yelled and flew over to her, shooting at the monster as her lion desperately fought for freedom. She eventually got free and shiro ordered a retreat, all five of us taking our lions back to their chambers and running up to the top deck as the princess tried to get us away from the danger as soon as possible.

"I think we are in the clear!" She declared and I sighed in relief. "I need to go check the damage on my lion I'll be right back!" I yelled and ran back to the chamber. I knew it had taken a lot of damage in the attack, I had to see the extent.

I wished I'd left it really quickly, the sound of grinding metal and the room shaking. The shaking was so violent it made me fall into the wall.

I screamed as the metal bent in, it shoved into the side of my leg, blood seeped from the wound as I felt myself becoming light headed.

"LANCE!" I heard Keith yell desperately and I became lost in the pain, feeling dizzy and nauseated as my body started going into shock.

"K-KEITH!" I used the last of my strength to scream before I vomited over myself and began to fall.

I looked up and found myself in Keith's arms and blacked out.
