Kol opens his eyes, only to realize that he had unconsciously grabbed onto Allison and immediately let go, banishing any ideas from his mind about how it seemed to be an instinct by now. As he takes in the town that he had departed from rather unpleasantly so long ago, his confidence in his decision to return seems to diminish.

"On second thought, perhaps we should just go somewhere else, preferably the other side of the world", Kol says with a hint of fear in his voice, gazing at the street sign that showed that they had landed right on Bourbon Street. He looked back at the brunette who had been busy staring in awe at the sight in front of her. Once she heard what he had said, her head whipped towards his direction.

"Kol, that's ridiculous! You clearly wanted to come here for a reason, she said, looking at him as if he was an idiot. Which was pretty true anyways. Allison's eyes reached him but his attention was soon elsewhere. As she looked at him curiously, he visibly tensed, whipping his head around hearing an all too familiar voice in the distance. "What is it?", Allison gently put her hand on his shoulder, breaking the trance-like state he had been in.

"It's nothing, why don't we just walk over to that cafe?", Kol says, not-so subtlely changing the subject, putting his arm around her and leading her in the opposite direction.

"And do what?", Allison scoffs, stopping, "Stare at the people who are actually alive do everything that we can't?", looking at him with what can only be described as vexation in her eyes, torn over the fact that she would never be able to live, or at least feel alive, again. At least, not to her knowledge. This was something that she was not only still beginning to come to terms with but it also was hard for her, knowing that she had left everyone she ever loved.

Sensing her agitation, Kol moves to divert her attention, pushing the thoughts of his family far back, "Come on, let's get out of here", he says, whisking her away. As they walk through the oblivious people of the French Quarter, he spots someone too close to home, but not wanting to alarm the distressed huntress, continues to go through them, not noticing the witch that accompanied the original hybrid.

Klaus Mikaelson walks along the streets of New Orleans with none other than Davina Claire, attempting to persuade her to help him and his family in their latest troubles when she suddenly stops, looking around.

"What is it now, love?", Klaus says, clearly on the verge of strangling the so-called super witch, "I need you to help me get rid of these idiotic witches who are trying to harm Hayley and not randomly stop and turn into Internet Explorer."

"Wow look at you Klaus, finally starting to integrate yourself into the modern culture, you know, being a senior citizen and all", Davina smirks, knowing he wouldn't hurt her. Not to the point of maiming at least, or he would have to face an angry Marcel, who he had just gotten on speaking terms with.

"Do tell me why you decided to end our absolutely riveting conversation, love", Klaus says, raising his eyebrows.

"It was really weird, I felt the presence of something that felt as powerful as an ancestor, but more dead I guess, and it kind of threw me off. It's probably someone on the other side", Davina says, confused.

"Yes but you feel the presence of the ancestors all the time right?", Klaus says, almost looking interested in their conversation, not that he would ever admit it.

"Yeah, but the weird part was that it reminded me of the power that radiates off you, Elijah, and Rebekah", she says, "Oh well it's probably nothing."

"I guess you're probably right", Klaus says, reminding himself to share this with his brother later, having a hunch about what or who it might be, his mind racing at the mere thought of the events that would occur if he was right.

Allison had calmed down and she and Kol were currently in the middle of a bar called "Russo's" as she listened to Kol tell stories of his experience in the various centuries that he had actually been conscious in. Her focus wavered as her eyes began to wander around the cozy bar they had situated themselves in, from the kind-hearted bartender to the pregnant brunette that was talking to her in an animated way, clearly distraught over something.

"So your own brother stuck you in a box for that long?", Allison says, immediately regretting the brash tone that she used.

"Yeah, he did, and I've been so mad about it for so long that I've gotten tired of fighting about it, you know?", Kol says, looking at Allison, attempting to convey his message correctly.

"I mean I get that but he stuck you in a coffin for centuries at a time just because he disagreed with you, doesn't that seem a bit harsh?", Allison questions.

"Nik, does care for me, if that's what you mean, personally I believe that he's just scared that we'll leave him and never come back, I know I'd hate to never see Rebekah or Klaus again, and hell, I don't think any of us would've even lasted a day without Elijah. I guess the Mikaelsons are just dysfunctional in that sense". Kol says, ending the conversation.

As he too begins to space out, he starts to listen in on what the bartender is saying.

"Listen I told Klaus that I didn't want him to interfere with how I'm handling Marcel right now, so can you get it through to him that I won't be hidden away when I can be helping somebody?", says the blonde, agitated beyond belief.

When Kol hears his brother's name, he immediately tenses, bringing his attention back to Allison. He could only wonder what his family gotten into this time around.

"Love, why don't we stay in New Orleans a bit longer? I have some things that I need to figure out."
