The screen opened with young Kara (Marley Rose) talking to Jake Puckerman. 

Jake: Glee club is so lame what does Schuster have you guys singing.

Marley(Kara): It's Brittany Spears week.
"Aww" said Winn "You were an adorable kid!" Kara glared at him " And I'm not adorable now? " "That's not what I meant Kara" Winn said fearfully. Kara smiled "I was joking Winn". "I totally knew that" Winn said.

Jake: Yeah see, I'd prefer music that uses actual instruments.

Marley(Kara): Well you haven't heard my version yet.
