Chapter Fifteen - You don't touch my Kai

The voice belonged to Tao, leaving everyone in the room confused as well as Kai and Kyungsoo. He began clicking his fingers, and he clenched one of his fists “It seems like you guys have messed with EXO a little too extreme this time for me to let you off lightly.” N stepped forward smirking slightly at Tao “You honestly think you’ll be able to take down all of us, alone?” Tao curved the side of his mouth letting an evident smirk appear on his face “Who said I was fighting alone?”

 

A few others appeared in the doorway though, panting from the running they had been doing to get here. Sehun murmured to Tao “Next time wait for us, we’re not all physically fit like you Tao!” Taemin was stood in the back agreeing with him and Minho just stood in the back awkwardly not really knowing VIXX too well, but still backing EXO over them.

 

~ Flashback ~

 

Kai was running down a street, not having a car to take him to the concert venue and not a taxi in sight. He held his phone to his head and made a call “Sehun…Sehun!?” The call went straight to voicemail, so Kai had no choice but to leave one “Sehun, I really need your help I think D.O is in trouble, he went to the VIXX concert but Taemin told me they were bad news. Please meet me there, I need your help.” The voicemail ended and Kai continued his run towards the venue.

 

Meanwhile back at the dorm Sehun and Tao were both sat in eating ice-creams. Tao grinned looking down at the ice-cream “China doesn’t have this type of ice-cream, ah so good.” Sehun laughed at his comment and they both began walking outside of the dorm, heading back out onto the street. On their way down the street Sehun got out his phone and saw the voicemail, he put his phone to his ear and listened to it. “Woah woah, Tao Tao listen to this, look its Kai!” He replayed the voicemail to Tao’s ear and Tao held the phone and listened to it for a while.

 

As they were both walking and listening they bumped into two familiar faces on the street “Hey Minho and Taemin, what you guys doing out here?” Sehun called out to them. Taemin looked worried “Ah to be honest, I came looking Kai have you seen him? He suddenly hung up on the phone and I thought he was gonna do something crazy.” Sehun thought about what he said for a moment before fully functioning it. Tao slammed the phone into Sehun’s chest “Come on you three, we’re going to help Kai!” Minho was just stood in the background confused by it all; he was unwillingly dragged out by Taemin. Before they could reply Tao had already started sprinting down the road, and they all suddenly moved their legs chasing after him. Tao’s cute, girl-like bubbly personality had just disappeared, he was in serious mode. Sehun shouted out at him “Tao wait for us, we can’t keep up with that kind of speed!”

 

Kai had entered the concert building and being a member of EXO it was easy persuading the staff to let him go back stage to look about. Kai was wandering about for a while until he bumped into Ken, who was strolling down a hallway with what looked like Kyungsoo’s phone. Kai instantly recognised that cheesy giraffe on the back of his phone case. He followed Ken until they were both alone in an isolated place. He grabbed Ken by his collar and lifted him up onto his tiptoes, he shouted at him “Where’s D.O!?” Tell me now, before I pound you!” Ken looked guilt ridden he hesitated but he confessed straight away “He…is…he’s in our dorm lounge with the other members.” Kai released him and ran off without hesitation, he looked everywhere for where the lounge could be but couldn’t find it. He eventually asked one of the female staff members back stage who instantly melted at him and told him where it was. He ran there as fast as he could, a bad feeling overwhelming him.
