Chapter Three - Confusion

Kyungsoo let go of Kai's arms, sitting back away from him. The white in his eyes grew larger as shock filled his face. He hesitated before speaking but finally muttered something "I like you too. Why wouldn't I, you're my band member and friend." Kai tried to speak but Kyungsoo spoke overhim "I'll go get something for your ankle, stay here." He got up and hurried out of the room, leaving Kai sat down obediently. Kyungsoo walked through the dorm lounge towards the kitchen, he searched around for bandages when Suho appeared beside him "What you looking for, is someone hurt? D.O?" Kyungsoo turned to look at Suho and nodded murmuring "Kai is..." Suho grabbed the bandages that Kyungsoo was trying to reach for, handing them down to him. Kyungsoo nodded as he thanked him, but after taking them off Suho he shoved them back into his hands "I'm very busy sorry, could you go see to him, sorry!" Without even giving Suho a chance to reply he ran off towards his dorm room.

Kyungsoo looked around the dorm room, looking for something to do to make himself busy. He glanced over to his phone and crossed the room to pick it up. He scrolled down his contacts looking for the first person he thought he could ring and speak too. He dialled a number and the phone was ringing, the person he called picked up and Kyungsoo replied "Hyung?" The door opened to the dorm and in walked Kai, looking to speak to Kyungsoo but didn't as he was on the phone. Kyungsoo nodded as he was on the phone "Hyung I need to see you as soon as possible, I need to tell you something important." Kai was listening in on his call and raised his brow a little at what he was saying. Kyungsoo carried on "I miss you too, I wish we could meet soon." Kai walked over to Kyungsoo and asked him directly "Who's that?" Kyungsoo shook his head "Not now Kai." Kai raised his eyebrows"Kai? Give me the phone." Kyungsoo turned away from Kai still talking on the phone "I'm sorry Hyung, that was my friend.." Kai was getting irritated, he put his arms around Kyungsoo trying to get the phone off him. Kyungsoo shouted "Don't!" Kai was persistent in trying to get the phone and he didn't stop until the phone fell out of Kyungsoo's hand onto the floor. They both looked down to the floor where the phone was broken.

Kyungsoo turned to face towards Kai "Why did you do that?" Kai was getting irritated "It wouldn't of happened if you just told me who you were "missing" on the phone." Kyungsoo widened his eyes "What are you even on about..." Kai carried on "You misunderstand me hyung, I like you- like you." Kyungsoo's eyes went as wide as they go, and he glanced down to the dorm room floor, not knowing what to say to him. Kai placed both of his hands on Kyungsoo's cheeks, holding his face as he leant down towards him pecking him on his lips. Kyungsoo's eyes widened the biggest they've ever been, he also grabbed onto Kai's shoulders but in a different manner as he pushed him away. Kyungsoo looked up at Kai speechless, Kai who just stood there maintaining his serious facial expression. Kai pushed Kyungsoo back against the wall of the dorm room, he walked over to him and pinned him with both of his hands against the wall. Kyungsoo shouted at Kai "Jongin!" Kai leant down to him kissing him on his cheek, moving his kisses to his mouth. Kyungsoo scrunched up his face closing his eyes as he tried to push him off. Kyungsoo finally mustered up enough strength to push him away and shouted again at him "STOP!" Kai stepped back a bit, looking at Kyungsoo with an expressionless face.

Kai walked away from Kyungsoo not saying another word, walking over to his bed in the dorm. He pulled back the covers of the bed and slipped himself inside, not saying anything. Kyungsoo was still pressed back against the wall, looking down to the floor, trying to take in all that had happened as he was still shocked. He leant down to the floor, picking up the broken pieces of his phone in silence, not looking to see where Kai went.

Later that night all the band members were in their rooms, most of them in their beds. Kyungsoo was laid in his bed looking up at the ceiling in the dark. He heard a small voice be carried across the room to him, it was Kai "Hyung...do you hate me?" Kyungsoo was surprised by this question and quickly answered "Of course not, I could never hate you." Kai carried on speaking "Hyung, I'm sorry for breaking your phone." Kyungsoo muttered in reply "It's fine, Jongin." Kai got up out of his bed and crossed over the room in the dark. He pushed Kyungsoo over towards the wall of the bed and slipped himself into his bed beside him. "Jongin, what are you doing!?" Kyungsoo whispered. "Hyung, I can't sleep." Kyungsoo didn't reply to him he just laid there beside him in silence. "You said..." Jongin began to slowly speak to him, and he listened in return. He carried on speaking "you could never hate me?" Kyungsoo was confused to the point he was getting at but nonetheless replied "That's true." Kai remained under the covers, but turned over on top of Kyungsoo, hovering above him in the bed "Then don't hate me for this?"
