CHAPTER THREE

Chapter three
Now, this was another opportunity for Grace and her gangs to start their evil works. They expected Jeremy to turn me down, but he stood by me and encouraged me. Well, I didn't bother about these incidents. The only painful thing was that I lost my virginity to save a friend who doesn't value my struggles. I came back to school after the weekend. I was the one cleaning classroom on Monday, so resumed early before anyone appeared. As I unlock the classroom door, I entered. There was a piece of writing on the chalkboard. I went straight to the chalkboard area. "I fucked Janis Martin" I read the sentence in amazement. Before I finished pronouncing my name, I staggered. I almost fainted. I knew this was from Jayden. I erased the board. As I looked back, I saw different posters hanging around the classroom; it was my nude pictures again. I struggled to pack everything and empty them. I Then I saw a figure approaching me from a distance, it was Jayden. He told me to give him a huge amount of money before 6pm in the evening so he won't expose video of the affair we had together. I was shocked and speechless. I quickly asked him for the amount. It was huge money. Twenty million naira? I asked, squeezing my face in bitterness. I had no option and I promised to come to his house in the night with the money.
My mom had travelled, so I called her that I needed some amount of money. Shockingly, she had transferred thirty million naira to my account. As soon as I saw the credit alert, I hurried up to the ATM stand and withdrew twenty million naira. I headed to Jayden's house immediately. It was already 6:20pm when I arrived at his house. He was angry. He complained I was late. I pleaded with him and he collected the money. As I turned back to leave, he held me by my left hand and dragged me back and closer to him. He tried to put his lips on mine but I pulled myself back. "Not again, I told him as I pushed him back and I left jamming the door.
As I was leaving for school the next day, I decided to visit Michelle's house. I met another scene at the front of their house. I saw Michelle's father shouting at the top of his voice, and his wife insulting him too. The whole neighborhood was noisy. Their disturbance called everyone's attention. I saw Michelle's mom struggling with some travelling boxes. She was packing out of her husband's house. People were trying to console her, before they knew it, she stopped a cab. She entered and left. I knew that wasn't a good day to talk to Michelle, so I left.
I noticed she didn't come to school that day. When I got home in the evening, I met no one at home. My mom left a letter that she was traveling. Though, my mom was a single mother so I lived with her since my father disappeared when I was still a month old. My mom and father loved each other but my father's parents disapproved their marriage. When my dad was not around, they drove I and my mom away from my dad. I knew my dad must have been searching for us. The last time we visited his house, we were told he has relocated. He and my mom lost contact. We stopped looking for him and decided to live our lives. I knew we were going to find him some day.
I felt lonely being alone in the house so I picked a fashion magazine on the table. I was in my short pijamas. I sat on the sofa and stretched my legs on the table. I had a knock on the door. It was Jayden again. I didn't want to open the door, but I did after several knocks. He entered with a smile. I knew he was here to bully me again. He handed a picture to me. It was the same picture he showed me in school. He threatened to collect money from me so he could dispose the picture completely. "I'm confused, I said angrily". "What's this guy taking me for, I asked myself". My anger was really boiling inside of me. He was requesting for another 25m. I wasn't working, where he expected me to get such amount. When he noticed the confusion on my face, he moved closer to me and whispered in my ears, "sex or money, choose one". I was really angry. I told him my mom was out for a business, I would give him money when she arrives. I told him goodbye but he was still standing. He really wanted the sex. I don't want to be the slut people called me. I chased him out angrily.
The next morning, when I got to school, I noticed Michelle wasn't on her seat. So I approached Jeremy and asked why Michelle wasn't in school. He told me she has changed school and she moved to a new apartment with her mom. I really missed her and the fact that she didn't forgive me before she left. After school, Jeremy followed me home. We played music and danced together. We were both drunk. He removed his shirt because of sweat. I gazed up at him, his tattooed body and his shirtless body. It was so hot.
"Like what you see?" he whispered in my ear.
"W-what are you talking about" I replied shyly.
"I see how you look at me Janis, like you want me, like you thrive for my body." He came closer to my face. I didn't say anything, not wanting to ruin the moment. I moved back but I was against the wall. I hold my breath looking at Jeremy's eyes. The only sound was the sounds of my heart beating. He came close again and nibbles on my ear whispering "Do you want me Janis?"
I gulp "uhmm" I said.
Jeremy went down to my neck leaving a soft trail of kisses on my neck. He bit on different spots on my neck. A moan escaped my mouth, when he found my sweet spot. He smirked on my neck sucking harder on that spot leaving a hickey. He kissed my lips roughly. After I didn't say anything, I let him took control of me. He took off my short pajamas and threw it to the side. Then he got on top of me. Jeremy grinds his lips against mine causing my lower region to grow. Our kisses got sloppier and his hands roamed my body going down to my pants. He unbuttoned my pants and took them off. I groaned and grabbed his waist stopping him from making him rip his shorts off.
Jeremy went down leaving a trail of kisses down my torso. He reached my boxer line and slowly pulled them down with his teeth. Then I felt his warm lips on my shaft, licking and rubbing it. He took off his shorts. Well, we had sex together for the first time. After a while, he stood up angrily. I tried to ask him what happened but he was really upset. Janis, you have been cheating on me" he shouted angrily. I was confused. What was he talking about? He explained that while we had sex, at least some blood supposed to show up since I used to claim I am a virgin. I was really scared to tell him the truth. I lost my virginity to Jayden all because of Michelle. I was crying. I didn't want to lose Jeremy. I really didn't know how to confess. I calm him down and told him everything. His anger was burning, pushed me away angrily. "Jayden? Can you hear yourself? Your virginity to a random guy? Not even me." He commented. He almost slapped me. He opened the door and left.
"I'm ruined", I stammered folding my hands on my head. I didn't know how to face Jeremy. I couldn't sleep in the night. All I was thinking was Jeremy.
