CHAPTER SIX

Chapter six

We went for a holiday adventure. The school organized it. Veronica, Joyce, Wendy, Amanda, Natasha, Martha, Grace, Jennifer, Laura, Michelle, and I were the girls chosen for the journey. Gregory, Philip, Jeremy, Eddy, Nathan, Ernest were the guys chosen for the adventure. We were to seek a cup inside the forest for ten days and the winner will be rewarded greatly. Mr. Norman was our driver. So the journey took off. I was sitting next to Jeremy where we were making out. He was seriously kissing me; he stopped when the lorry entered a porthole. Michelle was behind me with Philip but she still refused to talk to me. I knew Jayden was watching us. The journey was so long that everyone dozed off. When everyone was awake, Grace started distributing some goodies. But she skipped our side. Jeremy stood up angrily and asked her of our own share of the goodies. "I don't serve sluts, if you want your own share, meet me at the back so we could sexily chat and have nice time together, she answered". Before she concluded her statement, Jeremy raised his right hand and slapped her. The sound exploded in the air, it was so painful. She dropped the goody bag angrily and prepared to fight. Mr. Norman stopped them and they ended the scene. In a few minutes after the fight, we arrived at a small building where we lodged. We pulled out our luggage from the lorry into the small building. All the girls were inside the same room and the guys in another room. I really like the place though. I laid my bed and unpacked my things. I changed my clothes into sexy pajamas. The search for the Silver cup was going to start the next day. Jeremy was waiting for me outside, I walked up to him, we talked and had dinner together. In the night, we decided to hang out in the night. There were lights surrounding the building but there was darkness in the forest except the lodge. We picked a touch and walked far way to check out the forest. We got to a point and we stopped, and laid on the bare ground to relax. I lay next to Jeremy, we talked for a while. I stood up and laid on him, he was facing me. Jeremy grabbed me by my ass and pulled me closer to him. Our lips synced together. It was a deep kiss. My lips were begging for help. His lips were so tight on mine. He was really sucking mine. My hormones were moved and I wanted him more. While he was rubbing my back, I ran my hands across his hair, and I knew he enjoyed it. I removed my shirt and his shirt and threw them beside us. I was only on my bra. His hands reached out from my bra and unhooked it. I struggled to let go of my bra, our lips were still sealed together. He started pressing my breasts, he pulled his lips from mine and sucked my right breast and play with the other. I was in the mood. We were about to have sex when my phone alarm rang. It was light out time. We stood and I dressed up. We quickly hurried up back to the lodge.

I was thinking about how Jeremy and I almost had sex in the thick forest, I giggled. I couldn't sleep well, because Jeremy and I had long chat on Twitter throughout the night. Mr. Logan rang the alarm by 5am in the morning. Everyone was awake and prepared. We set for the journey exactly 7am. I walked up to Jeremy. He held my left hand so tight like a love bird and we trekked to the mountains together. I knew Jayden and Grace were watching us. When we arrived at the first mountain, everyone started dismissing to search for the silver cup. I and Jeremy started our journey together. It was so fun that we had to swim together in the small river behind the mountains. We were to spend ten days in search of the silver cup. The first day, we all came back with nothing. The second day was the same thing. The third day, Eddy and Nathan came back with a dead bush pig they shot in the forest and roasted it sharing the meat among us. After a while, there was a noise coming from the girl's room. It was Martha, Natasha and Grace. The girls had prepared a breakfast which everyone was meant to eat but Grace ordered the girls not to eat. She shared the food among her favorites leaving others to starve. Martha was really angry so they fought. The guys struggled to separate them and gave the starving girls from their remnant. Grace had turned herself to be the leader of girls. She controlled everyone. Martha was my bonk mate. She had complained to me earlier that she had ulcer and needed to be fed. She used to starve all day because of Grace. Sometimes I do starve, but I had to keep it within myself to avoid the fight between I and Grace.

After the day, everyone returned back to the lodge except Martha. What could have happen to her? That was the question that popped up in everyone's mind. Before 7am in the next day, we all set out to look for Martha. I walked beside Jeremy. Though he didn't hold my hand because everyone was so serious about the missing Martha. After a long walk in the forest, we approached Martha's glasses. It has been broken. Soon, we saw her body. Her body was bruised with stones and sticks with thorns. She was lying helpless on the floor. She was still breathing so we quickly carried her back to the lodge and gave her first aid. Mr. Norman promised to ask her everything and who did that to her as soon as she recovered because she couldn't talk. She was in coma. We laid her on the long chair in the sitting room. I was there with her holding her hands. When she opened her eyes, I tried to ask her who did all this. She couldn't talk; she was just looking and pointing at Grace's shirt on the other side of the chair. I didn't get what she was saying. Then I asked her again, "Martha, who did this to you?" she kept on crying and pointing at the shirt. I calmed her down and forced her to sleep back. I didn't go for Silver cup hunt that day. As soon has everyone returned in the evening, they had their dinner. After a while, Grace and Mr. Norman approached me and asked if she has spoken but I replied no. Mr. Norman said she would talk the next day because she needed to rest. So everyone left to sleep. Jeremy was on the chair with me. I was resting on his arm. So he told me to let's go out and have some fresh air. I followed him out. We talked about getting engaged after high school, it was really fun. By 11pm we entered because the light suddenly went off.

In the morning, I woke up by 7am to check up on Martha. I sighted her tongue, already out of her mouth. I raised her hand up, she was gone. Her body was cold. I cried in anger and called everyone's attention. Mr. Norman confirmed that she was dead and that someone strangled her. It was really painful losing a friend. Everyone was shocked and cried. Mr. Norman and the other guys wrapped her body and buried it. Who killed her? I asked myself. "It could be Jeremy",it popped out of my mind. But I trusted Jeremy, Jeremy can't kill ordinary cockroach. I went to my bed to mourn her, I heard Grace, Natasha, Jennifer and Laura whispering to each other. I heard them talking about Eddy. Eddy was Natasha's ex. They broke up few months ago. Grace had feelings for Eddy too but Natasha wasn't aware. Grace has asked Eddy out many times but he refused to date her. Natasha still wanted her ex back. She was telling Grace to help her talk to him but she refused. Natasha approached Eddy herself and she talked to him. Eddy accepted her back and they started dating again. When Grace saw them, she really became angry and jealous.

After we had mourned the death of Natasha, we set out to continue the hunt. Grace and her friends had eaten the foods that are meant for the girls again, Jeremy has to wait for me to prepare another before we left. We were the only ones left behind. After I finished the food, we left for the hunt. We met Ernest, Nathan, Gregory, and Philip resting on the way. So we decided to walk together. After a while, we saw some bloods on the way. We traced the blood and finally we saw Eddy lying dead in a pool of blood. I screamed. Everyone was shocked. We quickly carried his body back to the lodge maybe Mr. Norman could render some help. Mr. Norman confirmed him dead. We had to keep this away from Natasha. They just came back together when we arrived for the silver cup hunt. When she came back, she saw everyone in solitude and crying. She asked what happened. No one replied. She noticed Eddy wasn't there, she entered angry and found his dead body. She wanted to run mad. We tried to console her but she was really acting strange. She just lost a lover. I felt her pain. I wondered what I would do if it was Jeremy. Mr. Norman injected her sleeping drug so she could rest, so she fell asleep. Mr. Norman buried the body. When she woke up in the next morning, she and her friends went to the bathroom to have their baths. I became a detector. I spied them through the small hole leading to the bathroom. I heard her quarrelling with Grace. "Did I say you should kill him? I must report you" She quarreled. I was about to leave when I Natasha screamed. Grace pierced the kitchen knife into her. After a lot bleeding, she gasped and died. I recorded the whole scene on my phone and I left. Few minutes after, Grace, Jennifer and Laura entered carrying Natasha's dead body. They were really shedding crocodile's tears. They lied that they found her in the room; she killed herself all because of Eddy. I was surprised these girls could tell lies like that. Mr. Norman carried the body as usual and buried. Now, we had lost three friends.
