"Get out, " I screamed, straining my throat and hurting my head. I'm sick of confrontation. That's not what I need right now. All I really want right now is comfort. But, of course, I'm not gonna ask for it. I'm not a little brat, I can handle things on my own. But someone telling me that everything is going to be okay makes everything so much easier.
"You know all that I want to do is help. But I suppose I can step out of your life now. I suppose you don't need my help. I suppose you don't need that precious sister either, " he mocked, his glasses gleaming in the darkness. I'm surprised he hasn't taken them off yet, for it's unbelievably humid and foggy right now.
"I told you to keep my sister out of this, " I shook my head angrily, pushing the man even farther away from the door.

"Does she know yet? " he cocked his head sideways, his long brown hair following his movements. "Of course. I'm not stupid, " I shot back, getting ready to slam the door in his face. He caught the door before it slammed and pushed his glasses back up his nose. He smiled, making his dimples extremely prominent.
"Have you told her everything? "
I froze. Several emotions began to flood my mind, making it hard to even think.
He shook his head at me. "Of course you haven't. I knew I couldn't trust you to tell her. "
"So that's why you're here? To tell her everything? "
He laughed, which made me even more furious and anxious. I know it's still lying when you don't give all the details, but I'm just not ready yet.

"It's been a year now. Either you tell her, or I do, " His voice sounded far more intimidating now, only making me sick to the stomach. I felt a sour-sweet liquid bubble in my throat, making my head spin, but I tried desperately to concentrate on the man in front of me. I'm already tired and haven't eaten in a while , and sudden confrontation and emotions is only making it worse.

Suddenly, he pushed against me and into the house, scanning the living room for my sister. By this point, I am enraged and ignoring every other emotion I'm feeling. I wasn't going to allow this man to intrude my home and harass my sister.

I grabbed his wrist, catching him off guard and making him follow my direction. Once he realized what was going on, he easily pulled free from my grip. "Get out, " I panted from gritted teeth. He only chuckled in response. A laugh I once loved, I now despised.

He jumped over the couch headed for the hallway, disappearing into the darkness. I immediately sprinted after him, kicking him in the back and making him tumble over. I sat on his back and pulled his arms behind his back, causing several bones to pop.

"Fine, you win, " he chuckled, and I immediately got off of him. He got up and dusted his lab coat off. I crossed my arms, waiting for him to make his way to the door. He raised his hands in a playful surrender and left the hallway. I followed after him.

"So, see you later? " he said, before making his way out the door. I squinted my eyes angrily and slammed the door, locking it this time.
I sighed and slumped down on the couch. I rolled my fingers in circles over my temples, trying to ease it. I'm just glad that man is out of the house.

I bent over and put my face in my hands trying to get my thoughts together.
I saw a figure from the corner of my eye and immediately jolted upward. There I saw my sister, holding the stuffed bunny I got her for her birthday years ago. Years rolled out of her blonde eyes and her lip was trembling. I smiled weakly, but she did not return the gesture.

"...Galaco, what's going on? "
