Chapter 15: No Complaints

Snowflake's Pov

I lazily sat around in my apartment on the couch bored out of my mind. It's been almost a month since the game with my friends and Snowball. Christmas is right around the corner and I haven't seen Snowball in a while. I started worrying for him a little. Usually we meet up like every day, or maybe every other day. That's what it's like having a boyfriend...again.

Where is he at? I thought. I would've expected him to have come by now.

"Hey Snow!" I heard a familiar voice.

I looked to see all my friends on the floor looking up at me, well except Velvet who's flying.

"Or should I say Flake or just Snowflake since there's Snowball now, hehe," said Velvet.

"Speaking of Snowball, where has he been?" asked Kat.

I sighed. "I don't know. I haven't seen him since we all played that game almost a month ago."

"Hmm. Would've thought he'd come running back to you, hehe."

I rolled my eyes.

"Or is it the other way around?" asked Velvet.

I scoffed. "What's your point?"

"Maybe he's busy or something," said Autumn.

Maybe.

"Or he could be...you know..." Velvet started.

My eyes widened, because I knew what she meant.

"Velvet, are you trying to say what I think you're saying?" Kat said.

"It's possible."

My anger flared up slightly. "Are you implying Snowball is a cheater?"

"No! I'm just saying-"

"Then how about you don't!"

"Stop arguing please!" Autumn said. "You can just go see him."

I sighed. "Fine. I'll go."

"I'll go with you."

"...So, does this mean you're running back to him?" asked Kat.

"Shut up, Katherine," I said.

Snowball's Pov

I woke up later than I expected, still tired from leading The Flushed Pets yesterday, and the day before that, and before that as well.

"One of these days...man...just one of these days..." I sighed.

I got up from my bed and stretched.

Now what am I gonna do today? I thought.

"Hmm, I should go and see my Flake," I said. "I haven't seen her in a while."

I jumped when I heard a car crash into something right in front of my building. Then I happened to hear someone shout...

"Yo Snow!"

"...Who could that be?" I said to myself.

"It's Arggie!"

I groaned. "...What does he want?"

It's not like I don't like him, he's cool, it's just I have a lot on my mind, and he would take up too much of it.

"Just wanted to come by and see a friend!"

Okay, how does he know what I'm asking?

"Cause I'm that good!"

"Huh!?"
