"You guys are what?!" Chris asked, shouting.

"We're a thing." I smiled, innocently.

Ricky and I were finally telling Chris that him and I were together. It's the next day and the time is about 5:30 PM.

"Absolutely not." Chris laughed, not in a funny way.

"Why? What has Ricky done wrong?" I asked, crossing my arms, standing across from Chris in my kitchen. Ricky was sitting on the counter stools.

"You've seen what has happened with you and guys in bands." Chris said, crossing his arms as well.

"Yeah but Ricky is different from the other guys, he doesn't do anything." I shrugged.

"She's right you know." Ricky pitched in, taking a bite from an apple.

"How long have you guys been together exactly?" Chris asked, frowning.

"We've been hooking up for like 2 months now but we made it official last night." I smiled, looking at Ricky.

"You've been doing what with my sister?!" Chris shouted, facing Ricky.

Ricky and I just found it amusing the whole time, Chris could never lay a finger on any his band mates, they're like his brothers.

"Christopher, just expect the fact that we're dating and there's nothing you can do about it." I giggled, patting Chris's chest, then walking to the fridge.

"If he hurts you. I'm not going to be opened arms." Chris spit, in a cold tone before storming out of my house and driving away.

It hurt me deep down inside, but I knew he'd get over it in 2 hours.

"Well that was something." Ricky awkwardly chuckled, throwing his apple away.

"He'll be fine." I said.

Ricky didn't answer.

It was silent for a good 3 seconds before my phone buzzed.

I picked it up from the counter and checked my notification.

'Sorry about last night, I wasn't in my right mind.' -Oli

I smiled to myself, knowing Oli was okay.

"Who is it?" Ricky asked, looking up from his phone.

"Oli." I said.

Ricky let out a little "huh".

"What he's just my friend." I said, waiting for a reply.

"I know it's just, he likes you Ellie." Ricky sighed.

"And you don't trust me? He's the only person that understands me. He's been through what I've been through." I quietly said, looking down at my hands.

"It's not that I don't trust you, I don't trust him. He's doesn't stop until he gets what he wants." Ricky said, making eye contact towards me.

"He's changed for the better, you have nothing to worry about." I smiled, holding Ricky's chin lightly and pulling him in for a kiss.

He smiled in the kiss, grabbing my hips and pulling me closer.

I pulled away, he did as well.

"We should do something, wanna go to the old CD and Record shop?" Ricky asked.

"Why not." I smiled.

I slipped on some yellow vans and Ricky grabbed his keys.

"Ready?" Ricky smiled, twirling his keys in his hands, opening the door for me.
