Day 2: The Light begins to grow

Though every fiber of my being tells me it was real, logic says it had to have been a dream. Right? I looked at my alarm clock as I sat up in bed. "Uh oh" I need to get up now!" I scrambled out of bed and put on my aligator slippers, then I ran to my dresser quickly grabbing pants, underwear, a shirt, socks, and my shoes in hand. When I got to the living room I sat in the couch putting on my shoes and reaching for the remote. The tv turned on and I pit it on my favorite show, Lagoon of magic. A cartoon for kids younger then me since I am 14. Once shoes were on my feet I poured cereal and milk for myself. After breakfast, I turned off the TV, swiped up my backpack, and ran out the door. By Romie, by Nicky! I yelled to my cats laying in the gravel driveway. I got to the edge of the driveway and waited. I put my red hood over my head and watched my breath in the cold air make steam. It was fall and the whole veiw all around my house was beautiful trees, full red's, and Brown's, and oranges. I heard the bus in the distance. Then I could see it coming up to my house from the corner of the road. It halted when it reached my house, and I waited for the door to open. I got on and took an empty seat. I had been going to the Napavine school district ever since I was in kindergarten. "Ok."I thought. "I am really thinking too much about that dream. I need to focus on school now" "Hey "Nathen"Huh?" I said. "Look what I got!" What!! A new phone!" I replied shocked. "Yeah, my old one fell in the pool." "I wish I had a phone" I answered. "Yeah ,I hope you get one, Austin answered. "My parents said the only reason I didn't have aphone, was because I needed to earn it by not losing it or dropping it. I know, I know that's pretty fair actually. They're not asking much at all I just can't seem to be responsible. No matter how hard I try!" I had a pretty good day, but all I could think about was that dream. School ended and I went home. I sighed, and after all my homework and other stuff was finished, my Dad took me to my cousin Leo's house. My parents work early, so they are gone in the morning then they are home when I get back from school. "Alright Leo what do you want to do? I asked Leo. Calliah jumped on my back from out of nowhere! "Ahh!" I didn't know you were here Calli." I explained. "Listen guys, we are gonna play outside together ok. We aren't just gonna play video games the whole time." I stated. "Ok, what do you want to do? Calli asked. "I don't know?" I answered. Suddenly Leo said, "tag!", and jumped off the couch chasing me and Calli. I dodged him as I was about 8 years older than him. Calli was 10, but she was pretty good to. I jumped on a chair and leaned too far back to dodge Leo. Crash!! On the ground, was a glass fruit bowl. "Oh no!!" I yelled. Normally it was a little kid who broke something, but I was responsible for this, I can't blam a child who isn't even in kindergarten yet for me leaning back and breaking the fruit bowl. I had to go the bathroom, so I told everybody not to touch anything, and I went the bathroom. "Ok, I thought, Leo's parents are getting home soon and will see this. Some babysitter I am. I thought" I felt the anxiety set in. Then I heard a strange sound. It was coming from the sink. I went up to the sink and saw the strangest thing ever. The sink was filling up with water from the spout, but the handles were off. And the sound was like electricity! I saw my reflection rumbling in the water like someone was stomping and creating a ripple. My relfection began to fade away! Slowly I saw it return but wait, it wasn't mine! It was the reflection from the "dream" the electricity got louder I heard Leo and Calli calling for me but I could not move! I was paralyzed. Then O heard angels singing and before I knew it, I was swept into darkness!!! I knew I was about to enter the strange world again the confusion would either end, or grow. That's it, I would let go and see. What would happen. A voice was present then to voices. One was good and one was bad. The bad voice was tempting me.
