The most exciting part of the story is going to be put on hold for now. This will impact the story much later on. So don't skip this chapter it's important.
A piano is heard, in a window of a store on the street. It's tune, elagant and beautiful. Now is when you would expect a beautiful end to the song. But there is no beautiful end. The song just stops, abruptly. With no true ending. For such a beautiful song, wonderful beginning, and chorus, and the song gets best towards the end! But once at the end, it stops. Emily can't seem to find a suitable ending for the combined awesome of her song. Emily stops playing instantly. "Uhh!!" She grunts. After trying numerous times to end the song each differtly! She stood up, pushed in her Bench, grabbed her sheet music, and left. She had wriiteb the song herself, something told her to sit down and she did, when she began the song it began to flow through every cell of her body and throughout her mind and soul itself. She was amazed at the beauty she had written! However, she never did find and ending. Emily left the music behind the moment she left the studio. She walked down the street, across the highway, and came to the only home she knew. She looked in front of her, to the one story, dirty white, house that had been falling apart forever. Emily sighed from the stress she had. Reaching for her keys, she her a clunk. She looked at her keys on the ground. She picked the up, sorted through them to find her house key, and forced the key in the keyhole. "Uhh!" She grunted. Using all her strength to male the key turn and open the door. "I've been meaning to get that door fixed, and the lock." She explained to knowone, as if she had been trying to make excuses to knowone. She went inside and for ed shut, the door. Then she fling het self on the old couch and fell asleep.
She awoke, 3 hours later, it was 9:30. Emily opened a pack of cup a' ramen. And filled it with water, she microwaved and waited. When Emily had been a child, she had always dreamed of adventure. She was never a popular girl at her school, but she loved sports. She lived in a beautiful house and helped out her dad with tending to the farm animals. She was thought of as average, until peope saw her house. There couldn't have been more of a strange combination. Her farm was full of animals, and she was used to getting dirt, but her house was pratically a mansion, actually it was a mansion. Emily's mother had been a very wealthy, proper woman, while her Father was a very wealthy man, who loved to hint, and go on adventures. Emily had been close to both her parents, but her Dad was always the one she wanted to be with for adventure. Now Emily, was not so wealthy. She never ceased her love of music though. Her lessons she'd had as a little girl never were the end of her piano playing, she played everyday, from 9 years of age, to 17. Emily was without parents now. They had left her. They had died. The money went to her sister, Natalie. Emily sat down, now with her meal, and tried to shake off the memories. A blur became her vision as she held back tears. She grabbed the remote, and put in a DVD. She watched her favorite show. It was about a girl who was a musician. She met a man who didn't care for music and cared only of himself, they fell in love and she taught him of the greatness of music. The basic story line of a lot of movies. Emily went to sleep, without moving at all.
Then next morning Emily went to the bank. She was behind in a payment of her rent and many other bills haunted her life. Emily did like the bank, but when she was not in her best stage, she seeded the reminder of how far she was from the normal amount of money she was used to. She knew she needed to pay her bills, but today she needed to withdraw 50 dollars. The remainder of her bank account was $30 she wouldn't get paid for a long time. She walked to "The Rocky Street". A restaurant with decent food of all types, mostly American food. Inside, she met her friend, Amanda. "Hi Emily!!!" Amanda joyfully exclaimed. Amanda had long blond hair and beautiful blue eyes unlike most. They were like an ocean, more vibrant, and clear, more alive than most blue eyes. Her cheeks lit up with a smile. Emily wore a half smile. "High Amanda." Emily said simply. "What's wrong Emily?" Amanda asked concerned. "Just the usual, behind in my rent." "Oh no!" Thought Amanda. They both worked at a Nursery, caring to all the plants. Amanda loved her job, Emily didn't dislike it, she almost liked it. Of course, Emily wanted to play for people, Amanda was always telling her she had talent. That she was an amazing musician who deserved to be playing for millions! Emily was humble. The watress came around. They ordered their usual drinks. Amanda, a vanilla frapechino and and Emily, an iced mocha. "Alright", said Amanda. "Tell me everything!" "Well", started Emily. "It's really just simple, I didn't get accepted. " "What the music school of arts didn't accept you?!! No way!" "Well I didn't really want to play anyways." Emily said. "Wait a minute, you tell you didn't change your mind about sending in the application!" Amanda exclaimed. " Well..." Emily stalled. I will go get our coffee's ." Emily panicked. "The waitress brings the coffee to us, this isn't a fast food restaurant Em!" Amanda fired. Emily went back to the table after the waitress set down their coffee. She grabbed hers, and went to the area where you get sugar and straws. She grabbed one of each and set them on the table. Emily sat down and pulled out a pen from her purse. She was going to write down something to remember on her arm. She forgot what it was and talked with Amanda. After a few minutes. A few words came into her head, the words had been with her for a long time. She picked up her pen, and wrote the words on a napkin, an attept at getting them out of her head. "What did you write?" Amanda wondered. "Oh nothing I was just bored." "Not from what you were saying!, I just like to fidget" Emily recovered. "It's ok" Amanda explained. "Now I think we should talk about you and your plan." Amanda said. "What plan?" Emily asked. "Your plan for the future of your life". "you are talented Emily!" Amanda reassured. Now come on, I want you to send that application in, promise?" Amanda insisted. "Ok, I, ok Amanda I will" Emily sighed. "Are you feeling ok, Emily. Are you happy?" Amanda asked with concern. Emily shrugged. They soon had to leave and Emily kart her napkin on the table. A boy about 14 walked down the street into the restaurant that Emily and Amanda had just left. He sat down at a table. Examing the menu, he noticed a napkin on his table. It had 4 words written on it. "We want truth!" Were the words that the boy read. The boy ordered his food, he took the napkin with him and put it in his pocket. Later that night he unfolds the napkin, again he read the words, outloud. "We Want The Truth!" He said thriumphantly. If only he had know what the words would do to his life.
