The light was no longer present. I was floating or maybe I was still. I couldn't tell. I was in darkness. I must tell you that when I say darkness I mean I am enveloped in a tangible awefulness, pure evil that makes you feel like doing evil things. Evil that prods at you and males you feel cold and bilous with a feeling of burning, searing, screaming ice melting into you. I screamed at the top of my lungs, but my scream was absorbed. It was like screaming into a pillow. This wasn't being in a completly dark room, no this was true darkness. I felt it calling me. Just as everything was seeming to be complete evil and darkness, I heard another voice. Thus voice was like a mother's hug after a nightmare. I felt almost ok. "Do not do as the darkness has told you to". Said the voice. Help, I tried to scream, but it was absorbed. I tried to say this again, but this time my words were not present at all. I choked on my words, fighting with all of my might to get them out of my soul. The darkness came close slowly reaching out for my arm. I felt its awefulness. It had told me to come with it, to listen to it. I couldn't seem to resist. "No!" I screamed at the top of my lungs! A roar of light came out of me and the darkness cried out a wail weakness. It darted its hideous hand away from and suddenly I could think again! I was free of it'grasp. "Because you have resisted I have helped you andade the darkness flee. But you doubted me even though you knew I could have helped you and for that I must tell you that only with faith can you stop the darkness. Now I was just in a darkness that was good, peaceful not tangible or evil. I relaxed and time itself escaped me. I haven't the slightest idea of when I returned out of that place to the world of wind, but when I did, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. Light and peace and healing, had happened unto me, no darkness was left, just golden light. Then, I slept. -(pause a few seconds before reading on) The fluffy cloud was a memory I had, of floating on it and walking on the pink sunrise, with angels. Then I awoke. Dangling. From a tree. Where was I? I looked down from the branch I was sitting on. Below me, a hundred feet of brush to the ground. I was not on the beach like the last tome I'd come here. I was not at home either. The forest below was too beautiful for anything I had ever seen back home.
It's trees had beautiful white and yellow flowers coming from them. Another tree by me had red, purple and blue flowers. Each flower looked extremely beautiful and small and simple from the outside, while it was like the inside of rocket engine on the inside. The usual spiral inside was there, but then there had to be atleast 100 different tiny designs going on in each flower. I examined a flower beside me. Still sitting in the branch, I picked one. It was small enough to where two others could have fit in my palm alongside it. Suddenly, I heard something walking. Leaves and sticks were cracking and crunching, thouh it appeared to be spring not fall. I felt something warm on the back of my neck. Breath. I didn't turn around, I just continued to watch the ground for the creature that was coming my way. The breath only got worse.
I felt the cycle. In, nothing, out, a warm wind on my neck. So, barely there, I could almost not even feel it, and kept telling nyself it was my imagination. Then I felt it again and realized, it was ever present. The footsteps of the creature walking below me, were not present however. I had been thinking about whether or not to turn around, so I hadn't been focusing on the the thing. "Leave" came a whisper, from the breath on my neck. Almost as if he barely wanted me to hear it. I jumped, startled, and instantly turned around, pratically falling out of the hundred feet tower I was on. Nothing was behind me! "Where are you?" I yelled. I didn't understand any of this, any of it at all. Was this magic? I thought. What could it be? I knew I had to get back, for many reasons, but at the moment I was scared. Then I remebered Leo. "Oh no!!" I gasped covering my mouth, what'll they think!!" No, I have to get there, it's ok. I will make it back, back to the home I know. Coming out of thought, I yelled once more, "where are you?", I yelled, trying my best to hide my fear. "Turn around!" A deep voice roared behind me. I jumped again, this time not losing my balance too much. I slowly turned my head. It was, a, cougar!!! "Ahhhh!!!!!!!" I yelled. "Don't worry, I''ll make fast lunch out of you!! Only a lot of pain is in your future! Haha!" "No!! Please!!, let me go!! I can help you hunt!" The creature just kept on coming, prowling, smooth and swiftly moving, no sound comp g from his great, scary paws. "Wait!! Why did you tell me to leave?" I asked. "I never said that!" Screamed the Cougar. "Wait, then who-" "Enough!!, you are either going to jump out of this tree or let me get you!!" It peirced. "Either way, I''ll die" I said. "You aren't alone, I know you have other creatures, waiting for me if try to escape." I reasoned. He wouldn't need them though because, if I jumped, I would die from the height. Why did he need more of his brother's? I thought. " The cougar was waiting for me, as if he was calm, but his face was feirce, and teeth knarled. What could I do. I wasn't going to die without figuring this out. Uh uh!! I had to know. "I am not alone" the creature lied. He was alone, he had been selfish, and wanted the boy all to himself, Nathen didn't know that at the time. My heart was beating at a crazy rate!!!!!!! "Stop!" Yelled a familiar voice. The vioce that had warned me to leave.I looked, he was a bird. The same bird from the beach. He was larger though. A lot larger. I ran towards him. "Help me please!!" I begging him. "Get on!" He insisted. I climbed on the bird, Like getting on a horse. I felt myself floating into the air, and saw the magnificent wings of the bird on each side of me. "Ahhhhhhhh!!!!" Cam the horrible peircing roar of the Cougar. We escaped it, coming high into the air, above the trees, into the clouds.
