Everything was in slow motion. Your long h/c fell on your shoulders and you turned to look at Aoi. He was stunned and his eyes were wide and filled with surprise. So were yours.

Time then stopped. You stared at each other. You stared at him because you were in shock. You stared at him with hate, you stared at him wondering why he would do such a cruel thing to you. Aoi stared at you is disbelief. He started to take you all in at once. To him, you were a whole different person, but still the same. He was the first one to speak. "Oh my god."

Then, you threw up.
~~~~~
Aoi invited you into his house. "Who's this?" His aunt asked, finally hoping that Aoi had gotten a girlfriend. That didn't happen, and it would only happen over your dead body.
"This is just a some stranger who got sick on our doorstep. I'm just helping her out." Aoi dragged you up the stairs. His aunt was a little disappointed, but she was happy Aoi was being a good citizen.
Up the stairs, Aoi brought you into his bathroom. It was small, but usable. Big enough for a bath and a sink, not much else. "Wait here", he said, and left for a minute or two. When he came back, there was a shirt in his hands. "Wear this, it's not covered in throw up."
You frowned at him. "I don't want your shirt." He frowned back. He was even looking a bit mad.
"I'm trying to help! Stop being difficult!" He pushed the shirt in your lap.
"You're only trying to help because you found out I'm a girl! You wouldn't do this if I was still a guy!" You threw the shirt at his face, getting angry that he was treating you differently.
"If I didn't find out, I wouldn't need to help you." He threw the shirt back at your face and slammed the bathroom door shut.
You felt disgusting, so you actually did put the shirt on. You looked in the mirror to see how it looked. From the neck down, you looked like a regular boy. The shirt fit right, and was like a boyish one you would wear anyway. From your neck up, it was a different story. Your face was definitely feminine-looking now. Your long hair added curve to your face, and your long eyelashes were more noticeable, somehow.
With your body and your face put together, you looked like a she-he.
If you took off your chest wrapping, that would be a different outcome. But, you couldn't. You had to see your mom and dad. Hopefully they wouldn't notice that this wasn't your shirt.
"I'm coming in." Aoi said at the door. He came in, and you noticed your wig was still in his hand. You looked in the mirror once more, touching your long h/c locks. You looked back at the wig.
"My parents are going to kill me", you said to him. "I don't have enough time to put that back in by myself. I have to be home by eight." You looked at the ground. Maybe you could stop by a barber. No, they would be closed. Plus, you didn't have time for that either.
"I'll help." He says. "I know this kind of stuff."
~~~~~

You sat on his bed, and he knelt behind you. You worked on one side of your head, and he worked on the other. There were so many bobby pins, it made a pile.

"By the way, why would your parents kill you?" He asked, bringing the topic back up. You didn't like it. You frowned.

"I have to be a boy to them. If I'm not, i'm not their child. I'll have nowhere to go." You both started having a normal conversation for once. Without yelling.

"Oh." Aoi stated. "You know, it kind of makes sense that your a girl", he realized.

"How?"

"You always want to be friends with girls. You never want to date them." He continued with your hair.

"How are you so good with wigs? I never thought you would be." You wondered out loud.

"I dress up too." He paused to open a bobby pin with his mouth. "Except, its for my own enjoyment. My father doesn't really approve, so I moved here a year or two ago."

"Are you...Aoi...the net idol?" You didn't want to hear the answer. You already knew it.

"Yep." He announced, popping the 'p'.

"Oh my gosh." You sat and marinated on that thought.

"Don't act too surprised." Aoi laughed. You heard his laugh for the first time. You didn't think he could laugh. "You know, I guess that means we met before."

"Yeah." You unfroze. "After my job on Monday." You laughed, remembering it. "You were hitting on me."

Aoi blushed bright red. "I-I didn't mean it ya know."

"You stuttered", you pointed out to him.

"I didn't!" He tried to convince you. You laughed again, and he blushed.

"I believe you, don't worry. I guess it's the same with us. I bet you get all the guys, and I get all the girls." You put in the last bobby pin on your side.

"Yeah, except I enjoy it." Aoi finished his side too.

"Yep, I noticed." You teased him. He play punched your arm, and you faked getting hurt by it. You both laughed.

"Don't worry", he got off the bed, and held his hand out. "I won't tell anyone your secret."

"Me neither", you announced, and shook his hand. You got off the bed too, thanked him for helping, then left to go home.

You guessed you did make a friend that day after all.

You got home at 7:00 that night
