During school the day after you went shopping, you get a new desk neighbor. Because you interrupted a confession, after school a classmate tries to get revenge.
____

You walked around the shops that were on the block. Although you didn't have any money left, you went in them just to look around. There were so many cute outfits, but it's a shame your paycheck doesn't come in till Friday. Being paid about 150 dollars a week was a good job, especially for a middle schooler. You guess they'll pay anything for manual labor. The only bad thing was that the weed pulling made your arms toned, making you look even more like a guy. Most girls, if they dressed like a guy, looked scrawny and didn't fit the part. But not you, you seemed normal I'm your getup. You hated it.

You walked out of the shop you were currently in. You decided you officially hated Monday's. They put the bad mood in you. Even shopping for hours didn't cheer you up. Well you didn't really buy anything, but clothes in general should at least make you a little bit happier. It didn't. Also bad things always happen on Mondays. You're pretty sure you would rather be in a tornado than suffer another Monday like this one.

On the way back home, you twirled in your skirt as you walked. Might as well, because it would be a while before you could wear it again.

With that, you fell into bed and fell asleep. You sighed, thinking about how much you did not want to go to school tomorrow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was Tuesday and u were early for class, probably because you couldn't get any sleep. You paused at the doorway, mentally preparing yourself like you always do. It was pretty quiet, except for one or two voices you heard.
"Angela I have to tell you something. It's been a while since I've wanted to tell you." A boy was talking in the room. You didn't pay any mind and opened the door. The whole class was actually in there, silently watching the couple. Well they were, until all the eyes turned toward you.
"Well...you see...I-!" The boy about to confess was interrupted when you walked into the room.
"Eeeeek! (Yb/n)!" The girl he was talking to ran up and hugged you. The forgotten lover was staring daggers at you as you held what seemed to be "his girl". All the other guys in the class also looked at you in a disappointed way. You could tell what was happening, so you shrugged the girl off and went to your seat. Guys did not like you stealing all the girls. But hey, it's like you mean to.
"I can't believe he did that. Jeffery was planning that for months." The classmate was talking to his friend, but you knew it was directed toward you. He was glancing at you in the corner off his eye while talking, after all. You sat in your seat and directed your attention to the front of the class. Just then, the bell rang and everyone also got in their seats, just in time time for the teacher to walk in.
"Good class, you're behaving on the right day. We have a new student!" The teacher gestured for the student to walk in. The class was excited at first, the girls hoping it was another cute boy, and the guys hoping it was going to be an exotic cute girl. When he walked in, everyone was disappointed. It was an average (but kinda cute in your opinion) boy from the class over. No one knows him, but everyone in this school has seen each other at least once walking in the hallways so his face was familiar.
He had a darker blue shade of hair, and purple eyes with long eyelashes. His face was extremely feminine, to put it simply. You were immediately jealous of him for that. He looked more like a girl than you did, and you were a girl. Well, once you put on a dress, you were more feminine. But that doesn't happen often.
Suddenly you two make eye contact. He was surprised at seeing u, it seemed. He flinched and flushed. What has gotten into him? Was he gay? You sure hoped not. Wait, but wouldn't that work out? After all, you were very manly, and you liked guys. No normal boy would like such a masculine girl after all.
"I'm Aoi HyoudouHyoudou. Please take care of me." He introduced himself to the class and bowed. Your eyes widened at the name 'Aoi'. Surely it was a coincidence. The universe must really hate you to do this after what happened yesterday. Especially since the only open seat in the classroom was next to you.
"Aoi, why don't you go sit next to (Yb/n)." The teacher pointed to the seat. Aoi blushed harder and shuffled reluctantly toward it. You sighed and rested your head in your hands and watched him unpack his things. It was funny because you made him uncomfortable.
The teacher started to teach the same old boring stuff. Calculus was your worst subject. In fact, most of the time you just napped. Thank God you weren't seated in the front.
But today you couldn't sleep. Your mind kept going over yesterday and today. You were also dreading going to work today. Maybe you could skip and go around town again. Yes, that sounded good .
Suddenly someone clearing their voice caught your attention. You looked to your right. It was Aoi. "Do...do you know me?" He asked quietly. You shook your head and whispered, "Why?"
He shook his head back and shrugged. His shoulders loosened, as if he was carrying weight, and he turned his attention back to the board. Had he been worrying over it that much?
After school you headed to your house to change. That was the plan, until you got pushed against the brick wall. There suddenly was a shadow in front of you, and you were pinned. You winced and scowled and rubbed your shoulder.
"Listen up short stack." The shadow threatened. You looked up at the aggressor. He was actually sort of smart to do this right out of school grounds. That way, he wouldn't get in trouble. You blinked a couple of times to clear your blurred vision. You frowned when you saw It was the guy who was confessing this morning. "You better not do something like that again. I thought you learned your lesson last time."
You thought back to the last time you got beat up when you got in the way of a confession. Accept, that was with a different guy.
"Kya! Don't do it!" All the girls were crowded around you both trying to get the guy to stop. Some were worried and some were taking pictures of the position you were in. It was true that you were very short. You were a girl after all. But you were also taller than most of the girls in your school. So it worked both ways you guessed. You were also very strong, but you didn't like fighting. It went against your moral. And plus, it would make you seem less like a girl.
Thoughts suddenly stopped when you felt a sharp pain on your cheek. Your head whipped to the side. The hand that was soothing your shoulder from when you were pushed, then went to your face, trying to ease the sting from spreading.
"Ow ow ow." You said halfheartedly. "That was uncalled for you know."  You still rested against the wall, not even raising a finger. The guy scowled at you even harder. He got even closer than he was, and he was pretty darn close. You heard even more camera shutters.
"Don't try to make me look like the bad guy! You are, not me!" He raised his hand. Before you could react, his fist jammed it's way into your stomach. You doubled over, coughing and trying to get your breath back at the same time. He pulled back his arm to gain another blow.
Then, Just in time, a hand grabbed yours and pulled you out of the way. The bully hit the brick wall straight on, instead of hitting your stomach. There was a sickening crunch. Before anything else could happen, you were yanked on again by your savior. Soon, you were running while being dragged hand in hand. You stared at the back of the dark blue haired classmate's head, and wondered why would Aoi help you.
When you both were a couple blocks away, he finally stopped running and so you did too. He was breathing hard, and it took him a minute to realize he was still holding your hand. He yanked it away and blushed. "I didn't hear a thank you for saving you, you know." He harshly stated.
You were taken aback. You expected Aoi to be a cute, quiet, and blushy boy. Not rude.
"Well I didn't ask you to. I couldn't got by on my own." You crossed your arms and glared at him.
"Your right. I shouldn't have saved a brat like you! Idiot!" He yelled. Your eye twitched. It was a waste of your time trying to talk with him. You sighed and walked your separate way.
