finally, the day had come.

the day of the concert.

the young boy was excited to say the least as he was overthinking everything a person could possibly overthink; his clothing choice, his hair, face, makeup, voice, height and every single other thing he usually wouldn't worry about.

quite a lot of hours before the concert, yijeong headed to the stage, waiting in a short line for his tickets as he immediately rushed and got a standing spot at the very front.

he praised himself and spent the several remaining hours reading kyungil fanfiction and looking at the beautiful fanart fans had made.

only an hour before the event started, huge groups of mostly teenage girls took up the majority of the standing spots as they rushed through the ticket control, trying to get the very best spot. the male was beyond glad he came early and didn't have to deal with it.

besides, he was glad he hadn't had to deal with the screeching fangirls for the entirety of him being there(not that he was any better).

about half an hour to go and the fairly new phone was put into the boy's bag, for yijeong decided to just patiently wait and watch his surroundings in hope of spotting his idol somewhere, backstage.

sadly, he didn't have any luck with it, but the singer came on stage 10 minutes early, upsetting some of the fans that were coming in late.

the idol had done this a million times before; throughout the performance, he kept looking at the crowd in a way that everyone felt he looked at them. and yijeong felt no different. he had felt his star was looking at him for the majority of the performance, especially during the love songs, and couldn't help but wonder if he wasn't forgotten.

it ran through his clouded mind for a long period of time, when he wasn't too busy focusing on kyungil's presence, of course.

the concert was stunning, yijeong had to admit. the lights were turned off completely during slow songs and all there was were fanchants, lightsticks and his idol's breathtaking voice that escaped the oh so plump cherry lips.

is favourite part, though, was when somewhere in the middle of the song, song kyungil stopped singing and the voice of the fans was heard throughout the arena. it made both the fans and singer feel emotional, it was truly beautiful. it made yijeong feel almost infinite.

as the concert ended, the young fanboy wasted no time getting out, going to eat since he was starving. his time was quite limited, since he had to hurry to the meet and greet, though, so he dumped the food down his throat, rushing to the area of the next, strongly anticipated event.

as he waited in the fairly long line, he couldn't help but wonder;

did his idol remember him?
