--Stan's POV--

Just seeing the love of my life, unconscious just laying there. As two guys sticking needles all in his arm and taking his blood pressure really quick. Trying to bring him back and make him conscious once more. After they got everything done they waited for him to come back.

"It might be awhile before he comes back but he's still breathing." One of the guys say.

"We need to know some things about him to chart him for the hospital. Would you mind answering these?"

"Of course."

"So what happened?"

"His mother didn't like that he was gay and chased him with a pocket knife, as her was jumping out the window from two stories she cut his leg deep as he was falling out." The only reason I knew how, was that Ike texted me.

"Dang. That's rough. I'm gay, and that's just terrible. I understand completely though." The guy said, that was driving.

"Um height and weight."

"5'5" and 105 pounds." I said. I'm surprised I actually remembered that.

"Any allergies? And his religious preference?" The guy asks.

"He has a pollen allergy and he's Jewish." I said, I was playing with my fingers because I was so nervous.

"And blood type?" He asked. Looking at me he seen me playing with my thumbs, "Oh there's no need to be nervous, he'll be fine we've seen worse people that lived." This made me feel a little better.

"Oh his blood type is O positive." I said. I was still really nervous. We made it to the hospital ready fast. I hoped out the ambulance as they got him out in the stretcher and put him in a hospital room. I sat there in the chair next to the bed. Before he woke up the came and sewed his leg up where the psychopath cut it with a pocket knife. They also did x-rays to see if he broke anything. And he broke the leg that they had to put stitches on. So they had to put the cast over top of it and they had to get him some crutches. Ike ran into the room, Kyle was still not awake yet and Gerald came in after him.

"So how is he?" Ike asked.

"He's going to live he had to get stitches and he broke the same leg so they had to put a cast on." I said, thankfully but still sad inside.

A couple hours later. Gerald was getting tired and was going to leave. Ike didn't want to go but I told him that i'll call if he wakes up or when he wakes up. Ike hugged me and left with Gerald. I asked the nurse if I could stay for the night with him and she said sure because she knew I wasn't going to leave if she said no anyways.

I looked over at Kyle, he looked hurt. But he looked peaceful at the same time because he was just laying there. His eyelashes were beautiful just sitting on his closed eyes. His hat was taken off to see if anything damaged his head, it was sitting on the counter. His red hair was everywhere on his head.

I scooted the chair closer toward him running my fingers through his hair. It was so soft and silky. It wasn't greasy or dirty. I could tell he just washed it. I sniffed his head it smelled like strawberries. I kept on petting his hair. I stopped and I took my hat off and put in on the chair next to me. I cuddled up in my chair and soon fell asleep.

--Kyle's POV--

I felt myself waking up and feeling the pain again. I opened my eyes and looked around me. I was in the hospital. I looked down at my leg and there was a cast in it. I wasn't really surprised but I'm happy I lived. I look over to my left and Stan's there and he's curled up in the chair asleep he doesn't have his hat on. And I noticed that mine was off and on the cabinet. I needed to pee really bad but I couldn't stop looking at Stan.

That was it I needed to go back and the crutches were on the other side of the room.

"Stan." I said, rubbing my fingers through his hair. He jumped up.

"Kyle!" He said, hugging me. He was really happy.

"Dude I need to pee really bad, I need help." I said, nervously. Stan went over and got the crutches.

"Here." Stan said, giving me the crutches. He helped me out of the bed and I made my way to the bathroom. Stan helped to make sure I didn't fall. He held my crutches as I pulled my shorts and underwear down a little and held it aimed it and peed. It felt like I was peeing for 5 minutes straight. Stan just stood there looking the other way. Maybe he wasn't ready for that but he would've still helped me when I needed it. I pulled my shorts up and took the crutches from Stan. I also realized that they had to take my jeans off and put on shorts to put the cast on. I traveled back to my bed and sat down, leaning the crutches on the bed. Stan
sat in the chair next to the bed.

"Thanks for staying here, Stan. It means a lot to me." I said, smiling. Stan got up and sat next to me on the bed. he put his hand on my thigh.

"Thanks for not dying." Stan said, smiling as he leaned his head and rested it on my shoulder. I ran my fingers through his hair, as I smiled.

"Do you think you'll be able to go back to school on Monday?" Stan asked, picking his head up and looking at me.

"Yeah, I hope so anyways. Did my psychopath of a mother go to jail?" I asked, looking at Stan's innocent eyes.

"Yeah." Stan said, nervously rubbing the back of his neck. I pulled him closer to me and leaned my head on his chest as he put his arm around me.

"How long do I have to keep this on?" I asked, pointing to my leg.

"I'm not sure a couple months I would imagine. You had to get stitches on that leg too." Stan told me. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"It'll be fine, I'll help you to classes and stuff. Hey we even get to spend more time together everyday." Stan said, smiling, I smilied back. Even though I know this was going to be a hard next couple of months. I laid back down to fall asleep and Stan curled up next to me. He was really cold, but he made sure not to crush my cast and we both fell asleep.
