Chapter 5

Emily's POV

"No really, it's okay. I think i'm actually doing something with my friends after school." I remember Hannah telling me he was the school's biggest player. I couldn't like him!!

"Alright. So, what do you think of the school so far?" He asked.

"It's alright. Although it is kinda crowded."

"Yeah well ya know, i attract a lot of people towards this school" He said with a little smirk.

"Haha is that so? I mean, that's not why i moved here." I said.

"Why did you move here then?" He asked.

"Well my dad found a better job here so we-" I was interrupted. His phone rang, he looked at the caller ID and denied the call. He then apologized.

His phone rang AGAIN. "You might wanna get that. Sounds important" I said.

"I'm so sorry." He answered and proceeded with "Hello Megan. Yes i'm here. I just pulled into the parking lot. I'll see you in a bit." He seemed kind of annoyed. He parked the car and we just sat there.

"Everything okay?" I asked.

"Yeah everything's fine." He said getting out of the car. "So listen, if you don't end up doing anything with your friends after school then let me know. I'm glad to give you a ride home."

"Yeah okay." I started heading towards the entrance of the school when he called my name. I turned around and replied, "yes?"

"I forgot to give you my number just in case you need that ride home." He smiled and it was the cutest thing i have ever seen. I couldn't help but giggle. He gave me his number and i saved it. We said bye to each other and i headed to my first period.

I met up with Hannah during passing period so we can walk together to our 2nd period. I remember me telling Derek i had plans with my friends after school so i asked Hannah what she was doing later.

"Nothing, why?"

"You wanna do something after school? With Bethany too?" I asked her, hoping she would say yes.

"What'd you have in mind?"

"Ice cream? Target? Anything."

"I love target!!" She exclaimed. Who doesn't? I always walk into target with the intention of only buying one thing and i come out with a bunch of other things. Anyways, "me too, so is that a yes?" I asked

"Yeah. I'll let Bethany know."

My day went by pretty fast. After school me and Bethany met up with Hannah. We walked to the student parking lot and started walking towards Hannah's car. I looked over to see where Derek had parked in the morning and his car was still there. I was hoping we wouldn't run into each other. Especially if he was with his girlfriend.

(A/N) i had writer's block for the longestttt time, eventually i forgot about this story. I began writing it when i was in 7th grade and now i'm a junior in high school lmao. I really suck at writing so i don't know what i'm gonna do with this story. I might keep updating it. I need to get things off my mind so writing this story might be a way to do that :)
