chapter 4 The Water's Glow

*Aoi's pov* (The girl protagonist)

It was late at night I couldn't sleep my mind kept playing the sounds of the waves ,

and the smell of the ocean breeze along with the image of mizu

I blushed softly as I got up and looked out my window to see the blue ocean still splashing

against the rocks as the light from the moon glistened against it

I got up and got a jacket, I walked out of the house and I walked to the water

I watched silently  as I sat on the sand my feet slightly getting hit by the liquid

I smiled softly as I stood up to go back inside till I saw a distant light

I turned to look at it but it was in the ocean

I sighed softly and turned away but for some reason I couldn't move

it was like the light was attracting me so I turned back around

and slowly walked to the light

soon the ocean water was up to my chest as I soon ducked down and swam to the light

once I was close it was a necklace but the gem was a rain/tear drop like shape

I slowly moved and grabbed it

the bluish glow from it irrupted around me making my eyes widen

The glow wrapped around me and I female figure was slowly appearing

she had blue hair, blue eyes, and a blue tail she looked like mizu

she smiled as she gently cupped my face

"please, aoi take care of my son, show him happiness." she gently said

I looked at her slightly confused

"mizu has been so sad after I had died, but I noticed he seems happier with you." she softly wrapped the necklace around my neck

"so, please give him a reason to smile." with those final words she faded away and the light

all absorbed into the necklace and I smiled nodding my head

'don't worry, if im the reason that he smiles, then ill always be with him, no water what.'
