Plot: Imagine Gabriel protecting you when Sam and Dean cast you out for being a demon.
Gabriel told you the rules when you fell in love. It was forbidden for an angel and a human to be in a romantic relationship. However, you were confident and he was a rule breaker. You were constantly going on adventures, sometimes helping save the world, or just raiding a candy store.
No matter what, you had fun. Up until duty called and Gabriel had to go to Heaven for a month. You were alone for the first time in a long while and other angels took advantage of that, threatening you. When that didn't work, they tried to torture and kill you.
You were weak and bloody by the time you found a crossroads demon. You wanted to be with Gabriel without fear of being attacked when he wasn't around. You were strong, but defending yourself from angels was very difficult and it was hard to go on. So you made a deal. Gabriel didn't even know until the Hellhound came for you.
Telling the truth, you refused to cry. You and Gabriel had a nice thirteen years together. You wouldn't regret any of it or even take back the deal. However, he refused to burn your body, instead the archangel marked you with his wings. You became a demon nearly immediately after going to Hell.
On the way to finding your angel, you encountered the Winchesters. You still had a hard time adjusting to your new strength and enhanced vision, so you stumbled a lot through your bettered skills. You hadn't made in contact with Crowley that you could remember during your time transforming into a demon, so you felt safe enough to hunt other demons. That was your mistake.
The demon accused you of being a traitor to your kind as the brothers burst into the old house. Sam's shadow loomed over most the wooden floor as he ran forwards. A sharp pain flew into your ears as a gun was unloaded in the direction Dean had gone to. You barely had time to trip, landing on your bottom as the demon in front of you began to leave the vessel.
"What are you?" Sam yelled, as the buckets had miraculously missed hitting you.
"Guys, if you could put the guns away..." You coughed, trying to regain your balance.
"Y/N?" Sam said in suspicious disbelief.
Once you were on your feet, you noticed two guns still aimed at you and defensively raised your hands. "Yeah, it's me."
"No, the Y/N we knew died. Who are you, demon bitch, possessing a corpse?" Dean accused, glaring.
You struggled to find the right words in fear of dying again, but not coming back. "Dean, Sam, it's me. Yes, I died. I came back! I would also appreciate the guns not being aimed at me..."
"Sorry, we're not buying that," commented Sam, shooting Dean a confirming glance, as they readied to shoot.
You were nearly swept off your feet once again as the floor rumbled. A blinding white light flashed for barely a moment before darkness, then back to the light reflecting in through the small windows. The boys dropped their guns by accident as you fell against the wall to remain standing. You were exposed for half a second as you noticed the large appearance of wings on the wall before your heart swelled with many emotions.
"Gabe," you breathed.
The archangel, Gabriel, turned his neck around slightly and winked at you, before facing the Winchester brothers, a knife in his right hand. The boys gasped with shock at seeing the angel. The guns were lowered hesitantly.
"What do you morons think you're doing? You know Y/N - how dare you think of her as a liar!" Gabriel's eyes flashed dangerously as he stalked towards the brothers.
"She's a demon!" objected Dean, who stood untrustingly. "We kill demons!" Sam stepped forwards, unsure.
"Don't even think about touching her!" Gabriel shouted. "Sam, if you thought watching Dean die a hundred times over was awful and I'm sure that you, Dean, didn't quite like Hell, you're going to be in for a nasty surprise if you harm Y/N. No more games. Am I clear?"
"How can be sure for ourselves that she isn't going to try anything?" Sam questioned softly.
You gained courage to walk towards them. "Do whatever you need to. I'm on your side."
Gabriel stood by you and placed his hand in yours, the best fit there could be. You were calm with him and nothing could ever go wrong. You felt his wings protect you, though you hadn't been able to as a human.
"If you have any questions, you know where to find us. Ready to go, love?" Gabriel whispered in your ear after a loud announcement to the brothers.
You and your soulmate of an angel disappeared into thin air.
