Boys and choices p.2

We get back to the dorm around 10 am.
It's Saturday thank god, we can do what we like for the day. I have a date with Matthew at 5:00 pm and a date with Josh at 7:00 pm.
Lyn and I agree that Josh is way way cuter than Matthew but I shouldn't judge them by looks.

Every Sunday the school gets everyone together and makes choices for trips to different places or you can stay at the school. Lyn and I decide tomorrow we will go to the theatre to watch Divergent instead of going to a Miley Cyrus personal concert.

"KATE." Lyn begs.
I groan.
"You have exactly THREE minutes before you have to be there!"
"I don't think he'll mind waiting a couple minutes, its fine, no rush."
She gives me a dull look and turns around to open the door.
'go' she mouths to me.
"Good luck." She says as I walk out the door, only to see Matthew staring at me from around the corner, behind the plant.
He stumbles and tries to greet me but instead his shirt is caught on the plant somehow and I walk over to help him.
I see its not his shirt but is shoe, which is caught between the plant and the walk, and the plant is however, IMPOSSIBLE to move. They must have cemented it to the floor or something.
We make eye contact and I grab his hand and he grabs mine and I pull him, trying to help him up.

It works except now he's on top of me because, get this- hes a klutz.
He rolls off of me.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah are you?"
"I fell on top of you, you must be more hurt than me. Sorry 'bout that."
"It's okay." I tell him.

I look over at my door and find that "Lyn", is looking at us.
Or WAS looking at us, because when I look over to Matthew he's not there.
I look over the corner but don't see him and I get up and walk back to the room and Lyn looks puzzled.

"Uh.." she looks at me
"I don't know." I give her a blank look and wait for the time to pass for my date with Josh to come.

I must fallen asleep because when I wake up, its because of Josh and Lyn isn't there.
"Kate?" He asks
"Wheres Lyn, what time 's it?" I panic,half awake.
"It's okay it's around 6:50 pm, I'm early don't rush to get up, Lyn wasn't here when I got here so I don't know where she is, sorry to wake you."

"Oh. That's fine I was gonna have to get up sooner or later. I'll brush my hair and we'll go, okay?"
"Okay."
I blush at the thought that we had a TFIOS moment and get up to brush my hair.
I finish my hair and straighten it and were off to the campus restaurant.

"I hear the food here is good." Josh says.
"I didn't know the campus HAD a restaurant."
"Oh. Well it does." he smiles.

We order and eat and talk about our favourite movies and he decides to come with me to the Divergent movie tomorrow.

"Not as good as I heard but it was ok." he says.
"Yeah I agree. Wanna go for a walk?" I ask.
"With you of course I would, you."
I blush and turn away to hide my red cheeks.
He puts an arm around me and we go for a walk around campus and end up near the pool.
"You up for a swim?" he asks.
"With you, of course," he smiles and maybe blushes, but I cant tell because its dark out.
We go back to our dorms and I check the time and its pretty late for Lyn to still be gone. It"s almost 10:30 pm.

I get a pink bikini top and a black bikini bottom and guess what Lyn would say about the whole thing, then I head off deciding it fine and I should stop wondering about what she would say because she probably wouldn't be with me all the time, she MUST have other friends.

"Hey, gorgeous," Josh nods at my appearance.
I blush but don't turn away, as it is dark enough he wont see but he comments on it, making me blush harder.
"Hey hey, don't blush because its true.

We go in the pool and I see some girls, one brown haired girl, trying to comfort a red haired girl while she cries. I overhear her mumbling about how her best friend didn't get into the school.
I see Lyn is with them.
Those girls look like they could be models and they're probably popular too.

I find myself under the water slide with Josh wear no one can see us and a knot forms in my stomach.
"Hey-pretty," he looks at me with sincerity.
I blush again, I really should stop.
Before I can recover from my blushing moment, his lips lingering on my cheek and my heart beats faster.
"Its true," he whispers and pulls back. I glance behind him and have a mini heart-attack but Josh doesn't notice.

Matthew is behind him and has been there for probably the whole time.
He has a sad look on his face before he turns away and disappears.

We leave and he says goodbye and Lyn is at the dorm, waiting for information.

I tell her about everything and she freaks out and stuffs he face in her pillow, smiling.

"Josh is adorable," she points out, she doesn't need to, because I know its true.
